Keep It Rusty

We've had several new signups over the past few days and I expect many more given the news of the RR-Lines forum closing down soon.

Let's be sure to welcome all new members and spread the word that there is plenty of room at the Inn for all those seeking sanctuary.

New guy here.  Looking around to see what's here.

'Nother "New Guy" on board!  Good to have a place to get out of the cold when necessary. Northern Michigan is a cultural experience in winter. Looking forward to this!

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Welcome, Pete, Karl and other newcomers.  I've been here since 2014 but wasn't active between 2021 and a few days ago.

Yup, I'm a new guy as well, a soon to be refugee from the RR-Line forums after several years
of being there. Looking forward to hanging out here and thanks for having me.

Signed up as a member back in 2020 on this forum, so not new here. Still on the fence on what to do.

This is the second forum I've been on that is closing down. Freerails was my first. Unfortunately, I'm not savvy enough in the tech field of setting up a forum and running it or I would have started one myself.

Anyway, I'll stop by now and then and see if I fit in.

At Craig, I was the one that bought your 3D printer. I have as of today not printed on it. Long story that I might present one day.

A question for both new members and site administrators:  Should this site add new topics/categories, as the membership grows with a more diverse set of interests?

I would say "yes", and suggest a separate administrative topic where people can suggest new topics.
