Good morning,

It's great to see so many new faces here (though the reason for the migration is rather unfortunate).  Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.  The ratty, old, blue Lazy Boy is mine.  The wobbly three-legged stool back in the corner is Greg's.  The rest are available.

Have a great one!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Greetings from partly sunny and cool NH, it was 23 when I took the dogs out.  No snow predicted until next weekend, but the cold temps will be with us all week.  People have gotten spoiled by global warming, these are the typical January temps I remember.

Anyway, more work on Lamson's main mill today.  I need to decide the order for adding the ends and the tower (i.e. which to attach first).  And I need to build the back wall from styrene.   But those are good problems to have.

Good morning everyone.

Weather in Southeastern Ontario is cold as it is presently -12c (9f).  At least there is mo snow in the forecast.

With all the On30 modelers from the Railroad-Line forum joining here lately this will feel like home soon.

Not sure what today will bring but I hope I find time to work on the last staging track module.

Have a great day everyone.

8) Early sunlight  8)  has moved into hazy bright and frigid in my slice of the lower peninsula of Michigan. 13o going toward lower 20s today and most of the next week or more.  Paying back for all the great weather we had here much of the summer and late into the fall.

I'm planning to get back at my layout the next few days after many othe distractions and a dose of procrastination.

Enjoy the day all, thanks for the welcoming messages.

Be Well, Warm and drive safely those driving South for the winter.

Good Morning,

Started with a walk today at 46F and it's supposed to get into the 70's today (central FL).

I've completed the chores, well almost.Son brought boxes over from work so I'll start packing up his O scale stuff for shipping to his brother in OH.

P.S. That seems like a lot of verbage from Greg-just saying.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning,

I haven't done much on the layout build in the last couple of days, but I have been doing some work on locomotive maintenance.  I have been working on installing sound decoders/speakers in a couple Proto Heritage 2-8-8-2 locos and I bought a used Proto 2000 GP9 with cracked gears (as usual) with the added bonus of decade old grease caking/clogging the gears/gear tower.

Now I have a couple hours of real work to attend to.

Late morning all,

I think we need a sub category for our Geezer's Lounge and continue the Geezer's Legacy here.

I'm getting caught up on all the threads and also working on the Flat Iron Challenge build.

Have a great day ya'll.

Good morning Crew. It's a cool Sunday morning in So. Central Wisconsin at 8f degrees going up to 20. The walk this morning was cut short to 1 mile instead of 2 or 3. I left the scarf in the closet and the wind was just too strong on the neck. The dreaded treadmill is next!

I've been checking around getting used to the forum but will start today with adding photos in a thread. I need to work on getting used to the system here as pictures are important to me

Enjoy your day
