Good morning from frigid mid Michigan where we have a 20o down in the lower RH corner of the screen, SUNRISE it says at 0742, the days are getting longer :o

Eggs and grits with travelers rest coffee in the pot.  Sausage and bacon as well as Canadian bacon.  Ice cold diet and leaded sody pop, Diet Pepsi for ACLTom and Doc. P for TomO.

Found this online most of you here about that are Pennsy fans--- https://www.youtube.com/shorts/nqaBsFVCfjE probably wake us all up.

Lots to do here today, we're lucky, too far North for all the blue and pink nasty on the weather maps.

Stay warm and safe, enjoy!

Good Morning,

Karl thanks for opening and breakfast. Also thanks for the video. If I remember correctly there was a series of short videos of K4sa 1361 during her excursion trips in the 80's.

Nothing much planned for today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning.

Karl, thanks for opening and fixing breakfast.  Nothing exciting here, a few errands to run this morning, hopefully some bench time this afternoon.

I hope everyone has a safe and rewarding day!

Good morning from a brrr New York @ 13F with a high of 28. Karl thanks for the breakfast and coffee this am. Taking the cat to the vets shortly, I doubt he'll be thrilled, for a checkup & bloodwork. After that maybe some bench time.

Have a great day. Keep warm and be well.

Good morning Crew and Karl thanks for opening. The diet Dr Pepper will have to do as I visit the vampires at 11:30 this morning. No food but I can drink.

Played around with pictures yesterday and added 2 pictures to my gallery. Not quite sure I did it right but they are there! Now to figure how to add them to a post.

Feeling better as is Terry but it's her pain meds that are helping her. I have just a couple commission pieces to finish and 2024 is a wrap. I've worked on them a few times the last 2 weeks but the skill was gone as was the desire. So I switched to my own stuff as if it turns out to crap, it's mine and I can fix it. I feel I have gotten over the modelers funk and am back into those 2 commissions pieces. I have 10 pieces of rolling stock for a friend, again 1950's equipment that will just get a light dusting for the price of lunch.

Last night the 2 guys who took the Hiawatha Hobbies and Walthers trip last week dropped off a few pieces they thought I'd like. 2 more pulp cars this time CP! That gives me 32! Its enough! The surprise was the 4 Walthers Proto coil cars. I also got the kit buildings for the steel mill. They will be over a few times this week to assemble them and weather them in the studio! It's a joint project for a steel mill! Tonight they will be over to cut the mill's base so we can place the buildings.

Enjoy the day

Good morning, all.  Breakfast sounds nice but I'll stick to cereal & fruit.  It's overcast with temperatures in the teens F, --8 C here on the NH seacoast.  I've been working on Flying Yankee Association business (flyingyankee.org, we now own the B&M's 1935 Budd articulated streamliner, we're working on getting a roof over it).  Today's modeling will be applying decal rivets to my PRR flat project.

Select the picture in your Gallery.  Beneath the picture is a list of Image Linking Codes.  Copy the first one, the BB Code.  Then past that into your post where you want the picture to display.  :D

Morning all,

Completed my walk this morning.  When I left at 7 it was a brisk 55 out there.  Even though I only had a t-shirt on I still managed to work up a little bit of a sweat.  It's supposed to reach 78 today but there's a cold front moving in later on and the rest of the week will be chilly.  Well, chilly for here anyway.  ;)

Not much on the agenda today.  Wife is back at work so I can pull out the workbench and get to it.

Have a great one!

Well, it's up to 19 at 9:15, heading to 28 in my corner of NH.  Thin clouds so not much warmth from the Sun.  I have German class (that's back on after holiday break) and PT this afternoon, but I should get some work in on Lamson.

I spent the morning fighting with Mac OS.  There's a "feature" where Mac OS stores local backup information.  But if you're trying to clear up disk space, those prevent that space from actually showing up.  It's a pain to manually clear that.  I went from 32gb to 480gb after I "burped" those backups.  (But then 240gb is stuff I'm restoring from an external drive.)

Morning all,

I posted here earlier but I see nothing from me. I guess I forgot to hit the post button.

Thanks for breakfast Larry. Eggs and grits are perfect for this Cracker.

I'm working on the Winter Challenge today and should get an update today or tomorrow at the latest.

Have a safe and warm day ya'll.

Morning all.

In the teens here with slight warming later.  At least the bad stuff seems to be south of us.  Trip to the lawyer (contractor issue) and grocery store this morning on tap.

Watched football yesterday, the stupid Patriots can't even lose when they need to in order to improve the team.

No work on the FSM kit over the last couple of weeks and not a lot of desire to get back to it yesterday, we'll see how today goes.

Afternoon

it's a cool/26 with light snow in South jersey.

I'm going to try real hard to get something done at the bench today.
It has been easy the last few weeks.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)
