You're doing a great job with this kit. I have kits, but I prefer to scratchbuild over building a kit.
That's just me. This way, if a mistake happens, you can always blame the manufacturer!  ;D

Afternoon All,

Thank you Philip, Larry, Rick, Rich, Jerry, and Ron for following along and your kind words.

Since the last update I have assembled the tipple house and mounted it on the legs which turned out a little fiddly trying to get the correct position with the 4 side roof supports.

The side roof supports had wood boards applied before being mounted on the tipple. I also put together and applied 12 NBW's over the ends of the truss rods. And lastly I mounted the 2 sets of stairs previously made.

The photos don't show the NBW'S.

Howdy Curt,

I would normally say the problem with the photos was sun spots, but it could have been the poles reversing magnetism...

The structure is looking terrific.  You've done a nice job assembling those massive beams.

Have fun,
mike

Rick

Curt, great job.
Love the faded red color and everything is looking plumb.
Nice!

Curt I have to say this is coming together very nicely!! Keep 'er going and have fun.

Afternoon All,

Thank you Terry, Philip, Mike, Rick, Larry, and Jerry for your following along and kind comments.

Today I colored and attached 40 rafters onto the build. As you can imagine these were very fiddly.
