Good morning Larry, TomO, Rick, Karl, Curt, Mike, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry.

Currently 75F and cloudy here.  2 more weeks and I'll be going home for a week, I'm hoping all the white stuff will be gone by then.  No modeling lately as by the time I get home from work, make dinner and then clean up, I'm just about done for the day. :o

Race weekend this weekend so I know what I'll be doing and I should get to the bench tomorrow.  I usually finish early on Saturdays so I might even make it to the bench tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, plain cake donuts, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out with a walk at 71F and breezy. Next Sunday we fly to Seattle for the cruise. Yesterday on the diorama I put in 3 wood step areas that are next to hoist house doors and some adjusting of parts on the diorama.

The afternoon was spent at an Urgent Care for Dad. Last Monday he had a small sore on his leg but did nothing about it. Yesterday he showed it to me and it was larger and leaking a clear fluid. :-X  :-X  :-X So this coming week week He has 2 VA appointments plus the follow up about his leg.

I hope everyone has a good day.

hope it turns out ok. Enjoy working on the diorama.

What's going on in your world?

It's 40 with a high of 47 with light rain in New York.Going to take a break from modeling today
so not sure what's on the agenda.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning from the So. Central portion of Wisconsin. Slight chill in the air at 27 but feeling like 20f degrees. The high will be in the mid 50's.

Jerry, the walk was great but I did feel it the last 1/2 mile as the pace was a bit much. But because I was with a group I tried to keep up. My normal pace is roughly 3 miles an hour. I don't walk on Sundays and so I did not join them outside this morning. They were aware. After dinner last night with the afternoon nap I felt pretty good and got a little done at the weathering bench. I think the brisk pace and fresh air were a help in clearing the mind. I don't get that feeling on the treadmill. I will join them tomorrow morning.

The grandson started the soccer season in great fashion. 3 goals in game #1 as they won 4-2. His 1st goal as told by his dad/coach was interesting. They got the ball 1st and they pushed it to him who then from the center of the field, sorry pitch, kicked it in for a goal. His dad said Brooks noticed the goalie talking to a girl at the side of the net, so he kicked it. Game 2 was 2-2 and he scored 1. Dad/Coach said he was pretty happy on the drive home yesterday. He has at least 1 more game this morning and if they win another this afternoon. No we will not go. There are way too many home soccer games this Spring season coming up. The Son in Law said spending time in the tourist trap of Wisconsin (the Dells) and water park center of the World between games was expensive. He did say though driving go-carts between the games was fun. Only the indoor portion of the water parks are open as are some of the go-cart tracks.

I realized yesterday afternoon that my TDS email was not working. When I looked I realized I've received nothing since Wednesday night. I've been sending emails but I had just realized no responses. Text messaging works but a few of my weathering clients do not text! Worked on it and then called the son. He was out partying but said will call me this morning. I will call him again after 1pm.

I watched or rather the Final 4 BB games were on the monitor yesterday as Terry said she wanted to see them. Duke sure choked under the pressure from Houston. Basically anything I thought of doing yesterday, I didn't.

I called our friends in Gulf Shores and told them we would not be arriving to visit on Monday the 14th. Too many medical issues unresolved. We still hope to get there this Spring, but an April visit is out.

Terry did promise last night that she will not watch her Sunday morning news shows. I think yesterday staying away from her computers was good for her. Today may just be a 1 or 2 hour road trip to nowhere. We used to do that in the Spring and Summer of Covid 2020 just to get out of the house. Per agreement she can go back to her computer after 6pm.

Enjoy the day
TomO

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Cascade Locks weather: Showers likely, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 63.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope Dad's leg heals quickly.

TomO, congratulations on the grandsons goals.

Larry, enjoy whatever you end up doing.

Greg, hope you have another day filled with sunshine.

Jerry, hope you got some good bench time.

Ron, did you get finished early?

Philip, hope the rain stops soon.

Mike, the flat cars turned out great.

Karl, make any good progress on the layout yesterday?

ACLTom, any good BS'ing yesterday?

Hope everyone else out there is well.

Started my day yesterday with a hike to Multnomah Falls which is the tallest waterfall in Oregon.
Hike was 8.79 miles and 1,106' of climbing.
Had a nice feast here at camp last night.
Some of the campers cooked some delicious meals and I sampled a little of all of them.
There was coconut creme pie afterward to celebrate a birthday (not mine).

Since the rains will start again today I'll be heading east where the weather will be better.

Good morning crew,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee and breakfast.  Good luck with your Dad's leg.

Larry, hope you enjoy your day.

TomO, I agree that walking outdoors is much better than the treadmill.

Rick, thanks for the waterfall photo.  Sharing on the trail sounds nice.

Gregory, hope you enjoyed the sunshine.

Jerry, glad you had some time at the bench.  I agree about the weird weather.

Ron, hope you enjoyed the races and some time at the bench.

Philip, I'm loving all the details on your joint.

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's an overcast day in Georgia with a severe front headed our way.  'Tis the season.

The family returned to their homes safely, and it's just Sharon, Sweetie, and me.  The house feels empty.  I'm getting pressure for 1:1 to-do items from MOH, but I am resisting.  I hope to make it upstairs today, we'll see.

Have fun,
mike

Morning, The rain had stopped after 10" worth. Just wow enough already. This total exceeds 1997.

This new On30 lounge seems longer to reach 100 pages. Is the count different here?

Have a great day!

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.  Hope the sore on your dad's leg isn't anything serious.

Larry, enjoy your day today.

TomO, Glad you enjoyed the walk yesterday, hopefully the health issues will get sorted out quickly.  Enjoy your little excursion today.

Rick, looks like that waterfall was worth the hike.  It's always nice to share dinner with new friends.

Philip, I'm surprised to how many pages we have already.

Jerry, looking forward to your thread when you start it.

Currently 77F and cloudy here.  Already have had a busy morning, washing is done and put away as well as the grocery shopping is done.  Next up is to watch the race.  Should be able to spent the afternoon at the bench.

Morning Gents,

Coffee's nice and hot along with the usual morning Bevies. Breakfast
assorted pastries; most notably Hot Cross Buns as a seasonal treat.

What are your plans for the day?

It's a chilly 32 with a high of 50 in New York. Some white crap coming our
way tonight but just a trace with most of it to our southeast. A run to the
store soon then some time at the bench hopefully.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and stay safe.
