Howdy folks,

Gary, Dave B, Philip, Larry, and Rick, thank you for your kind comments and encouragement.  

Gary, thanks for the tip.  I've used that same wax in my woodshop, so I bet I have a ring in the garage.

Well, the wheels are done minus weathering.  The glue needs to dry for a day before I go brushing on them.  I think most rivet counters will be happy with the work.  

Mounting the wheels and constructing the walking beam are next.



There are rivets on both sides of the wheels.  :o

So that doubles the rivet count!

The wheels look great  The grain on the wheels really adds texture to the model.

Outstanding job Mike. I also noticed that the rivets are equally spaced on the wheels which is a skill of it's own.
