I got a good laugh seeing Bubbles.

It reminded me of the fact that there are many modelers who have incorporated humor, some subtle, into their layouts.

The "Back to the Future" Deloreon is another comical addition I've seen.

I'm tempted to start a topic just on layout humor. Scenes, vignettes, off beat silly signage, things out of place in time all would make good  posts. The intent is for others to post comical things they've seen on other layouts  or created on their own empires.

Thanks to Kyle for letting me steal his topic.

😆😅😂🤣

Thanks for posting that video!

What would be hilarious would be if Kyle had a drive in movie theatre on the layout. Godzilla would be on the screen, while Bubbles was watching from the back row.

Thanx ya'll ;D  ;D  ;D .......
thanx Curt, thanx Mike, thanx Dave B., thanx Dave, thanx Phillip, and thanx Larry C*;

I'm soooooo glad ::)  ::) ;D  ;D  ;)  ;)  everybody got such a kick outta BUBBLES' return to  Grizzly.....she's an integral part of the layout and has always brought the best out in people..... ;)  ;)

The "I Me Mine" spur got one step closer to being done today (Friday) :o  :o ....I installed the little bridge (temporary fitting) that goes over the waterfall 'overflow spillage exit' and under the spur along with the trackage that is the switching lead.....tomorrow I'll finish the last section (it only needs the rails added) that goes into the 'mine' ;D  ;D .......next I'll install the bridge and abutments, and glue the track work down, working my way down to Dilapidated.....soldering the feeders as I go ;)  ;)  ;) ......

Mike...I think I'm going to use a layer of dirt for ballast and see how it looks ::)  ::) before deciding to use regular ballast......if it looks OK I'll glue it down....if not then I'll 'spread it a bit' and add some regular ballast....I have a bag of 'Chick Grit' I've been waiting to use, its a bit too 'red' but I hear you can 'color it' or at least 'tone it down' a bit :o  :o ....either way I figure we'll find out in about a week or so..... :o  :o  :o  ;)  ;) thanx for asking......here's some shots of the work today.........hope they came out OK :D  :D

Larry C*....thanx, I'm so glad the grade looks OK to another set of eyes ;D ...

Anyways, thanx again for stoppin' by and bringing some levity to the place ;D  ;D ... neither Grizzly nor Dilapidated is really an 'entertainment destination' :o  ::)  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D so any grins or chuckles are much appreciated.......ya'll come back now.......see ya.... 8)  8)  8)  8)  8)

I was wondering about when Bubbles dances, what she used as a pole?

The answer that came to me was:

Anything she damn well pleases!

Thanx Dave;

Hey guys........ ;D last night (Saturday) I took Gage out to his favorite spot to eat for his 26th :o  ;D  ;D birthday....then we went to check out BUBBLES at her 'night job' ::)  ::)  ;)  ;)  ;) .....

Dave...she actually uses one of the concrete support columns as a 'pole' ::)  :o  ;D  ;D  ;D ....reviews were mixed...and she had a hard time with handling the $ bills....nobody wanted to get too close :o so they mostly just wadded them up and tossed them at her ???......gratefull and always polite, she nodded her appreciation and 'strutted her stuff' one last time before she almost tripped and fell  :o  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  :( ...but all in all it was time well spent :o  ::)  ::) as we enjoyed ourselves immensely, nobody got hurt and it didn't cost us anything; ;D  ;D  ;)  so all's well that ends well......

Today (Sunday) I finished the last piece of track, it leads into the mine, and it wasn't very long so it went quickly ;)  ;) ......next I went to work 'modifying' the old one stall engine shed that I had used for a car repair shop on the last four layouts....now it's the entrance to the "I ME MINE"...G. Harrison owner :o  ;)  ;) ......pictures too follow...all for now , ya'll stay tuned and thanx again for checkin' out the G&D Ry Co. progress  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;) ...see ya..... 8)  8)  8)........

Kyle I thought when I saw the mine entrance was that it was a snow shed on the end of a RR tunnel.

I look forward to seeing your water features come to life.
