Howdy folks,

Curt, Tom, Rick, and Gary, thank you for your kind words and support.

The gondola is complete minus the load.  Here are a few completion photos.

Next up may be another livestock car, with a twist.  Stay tuned.

Have fun,
mike

Howdy folks,

Jerry, Curt, Rick, and Philip, than you for your continued support!

I had a hard time finding couplers for the gondola. The stash I have are Kadee #714s, perpect for HOn3... :'(  I guess I'll put them on eBay and order Kadee 148s for the On30.

I have so much HO stuff to sell that I need to get with it.

Have fun,
Mile

Howdy folks,

The next equipment build will be a stock car by Morgan Hill Models.  It is composed of fences on a flat car.

Stock on Flat with hay and details.

Parts layout

It looks like a nice kit that will be lots of fun.

Howdy folks,

Many thanks to Rick, Curt, Philip, Jerry, Gary, and Kyle for the kind comments and support.

I made some progress on the stock car today.  I added weight in the form of #8 bird shot glued between the frame members, primed the details, and finished distressing, weathering, and gluing the stock boards together.  All that remains to be done is to build trucks, to install couplers, to add stirrups, to assemble the stock and supply bins and to add a break staff.

Here are a few photos of progress.

Apologies for the fuzzy photos.  I was too tired to go back upstairs to retake them.

Have fun,
mike
