Howdy folks,

This post starts the build of a Morgan Hill Models Wood Tank car. It looks fairly simple to construct and should make a unique car for hauling oil or water to the mines.

Here are the parts:


The frame is in the clamps for the glue to dry. I'll post photos in a few days.

I guess Morgan couldn't keep up? Such a fall from grace. The moral of the story is to never take pre-orders.

How is the end constructed?  Is it a single sheet laser-cut to the right diameter?  Do the side boards overhang the end?  Those are the design/construction questions that come to my mind as I look at this.
