My app is just about identifying the rock units.  It does show major faults (black lines)

The green at top is granite/granodiorite unit.  The middle is that Newbury Volcanic Complex, and the bottom is Topsfield Granitodiorite.  In the app, you point to the color, and it'll tell you the rock there.

I don't know about a triple junction of plates.  There's a lot of crumbled plates when the Acadian Orogeny constructed North America.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acadian_orogeny  Mostly we were looking at the results in Vermont, because the one prof specialized in the rocks and rock formation there.

Modeling the Northeast in the 1890s - because the little voices told me to

It's been 6 months, but I restarted actual model building with my old Swift Reefer project per Paul Larson's article in Oct. 1953 Model Railroader:

I'd started the roof several years back, but water-based glue had made the smaller pieces of Northeastern 1/32" scribed sheathing curl. So I got out my next-to-last tube of Ambroid and was pleased with the result.  Then I departed from the article and cut blocks for the ends. They were big enough to stand up to yellow glue.

Today was a rainy day, but I'm not going farther than the next town tomorrow, so maybe more progress.

As a Selectman, I work at every election in town. It's supervisory, so when things and people behave, I can work on personal stuff.

Today my side project was the NMRA Achievement Program category Structures. I hadn't been sure whether my Rt. 1A Overpass in Rowley would qualify as "scratchbuilt".  So I wrote up the text for its Form 902 (NMRA Contest Evaluation Form). Having judged Scratchbuilt at the NER's Southbridge, MA convention recently, it seems to me it qualifies as scratchbuilt.  With this, I have all five scratchbuilt structures I need (the Rowley Depot earned Merit in 2017).  Later this week I'll ask my AP Chair if he agrees, then see what the evaluator wants for documentation (Form 902s vs. the descriptive attachment referred to in the SOQ forms).
