When I found this forum about a month ago, I was happy see so many names and icons from the now defunct RailRoad Lines Forum. I have several friends from there that I discovered are already here at this forum.

It made me wonder how many members of RRL never made it here, because they don't know about this forum?

So my suggestion is if you have a way of contacting prior members of RRL via phone, Facebook or email that have not shown up here yet, invite them to join this website.

Maybe they don't know what they are missing!

Hi Dave. Great suggestion, but before RRL shut down, there was already plenty of talk about members joining the Modelers Forum.
Many of the regulars were already on here anyhow.

That is why it was suggested to create some new sub-forums here that existed over at RRL.
Jim and Craig were most gracious and have done that for us, and those forums are gathering steam.

Some at RRL had the attitude, it's RRL or nothing, so doubtful they will join here, which is a real shame,  but so be it.

There was even talk in the last dying days that RRL may somehow get resurrected.  I have my doubts.

And while there was a 25 years of great builds and info over there, it should be realised, there was really only maybe 30 regular contributors in the end.
One of the reason RRL is gone.

I'm very happy here.
