Thanks for the photo, Dave.  I've been studying the track in the foreground, specifically the rails.

pretty sure I see 2 different rail sizes, but definitely some missing hardware and a couple fairly short rail splices.

Yes, a "compromise joint" almost directly below the crankshaft, three missing joint bolts and two 'Dutchmen' (rails shorter than 10 feet) below the compromise joint.

Always worth checking a different web browser. I couldn't get it to go either, using Safari on my MacBook Pro. It worked fine with Chrome.
