Good morning Crew. The coffee is hot as I found some Dunkin bag and poured it in the pot. It smells like coffee. The sodas, iced teas, waters and juices are frosty cold. We have donuts, apple fritters and Thomas's English muffins with a great Wisconsin soft churned butter. No eggs today and even though we were promised a free wall and lower egg prices we still have hope. Fried ham steaks, Swiss cheese and a choice of pumpernickel or sourdough bread still a touch warm from the oven.

Strange today, the family calendar is blank. So I'm again free to choose my activities! Ok, train room to start the morning.

So. Central Wi. Is starting off at 32f degrees and climbing into the mid 50's. Just snow piles from plowing is all I saw yesterday as I drove through the neighborhood. I have this nagging feeling the White Gifts From Above may make a spectacular return this month! Be well...

Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone.

Tom, thanks for the second cup.

San Luis Obispo weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.

Going to see what's going on at the California coast.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Tom, Rick and later arrivals. Seacoast NH temperatures are still well below freezing; 14F now, high of 29 forecast with bright sun. But tomorrow it's back to highs in the 40s and 50s for the rest of the week. I don't think the ground will thaw, but it won't be long if this pattern persists.

I have some bills and tax paperwork to do, then hobbies.

Morning all,

Thanks for the soda to kick start the day Tom.

Not much going on here today. Yesterday I edged and cut the grass as it was such a nice cool day.

I'll do more on the flat iron build today.

Have a great day everyone.

German class this morning, then I need to defrost the freezer in the garage (while it's cold enough to store stuff outside...)  That's a task I try to pick the "last really cold of winter", so doing this is a sign of the coming spring.  Our snow cover has been thawed and frozen so many times it's really solid (until it warms up tomorrow).  But the dogs are slipping on it as they try to get to the yard to do their duty.  At least the ice is mostly gone from the driveway (but again that will change once the snowpack starts to melt...)  At least this is good maple sugaring weather.

Back to the train room in the afternoon.

Morning all,

Just completed my walk. A little breakfast first and then I'll hit the shower. Workbench time after that.

Have a great one!

Good morning, Tom and crew. We're having another sunny day in this corner of Virginia.

I have some yard work to do before we go for a walk.  Later I need clean some freight car wheels.  I wish there was an easy way to do it.
