Kanthima, my wife, is Thai. Luckily, her large family lives outside Bangkok. Also, so far reported deaths and injuries are almost all from the one building under construction that collapsed.  I'll imagine a breakfast of Thai fried chicken and mango with sticky rice.  Hot coffee and tea are ready but I usually choose one of the many kinds of fruit juice.

Morning James and all others,

Great news on the family being OK, I'm sure Kanthima is relieved. And, thank for breakfast.

I'll be cleaning up the train shed and working on an old Magnuson kit build.

Have a happy and safe day everyone.

7.7 is quite a rumble, glad to hear your family is OK, James.  Speaking of geology, I swapped messages with one of the kids from my geology classes, she's going for an intern interview at Coulee Dam.   I sure wish her luck, she's been doing office/administration work for the last couple of years, rather than working with her degree.

More geology...  In a couple minutes I'll go down and ponder the next steps for the scenery around Lamsons.  What I want to try is mixing some coloring/pigments with plaster to work around the stone stuff I put down yesterday.

We're off to a concert in Boston tonight, a 'greatest hits/20th anniversary' performance by Stile Antico.  They do a-capella renaissance church music (extremely well!)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEoktElPm5c

Mornin,' All!

42, feels like 42, headed for 53 under the grey blanket here in the northern mitten.  Looks like the big mess may go south of us.  Or not....  Heating guys are scheduled for 12-2 to figure out why my heat is not functioning.... Bleah! and Brrrrr!

James, best wishes to Kanthima and family.  The news from Bangkok is Not Good....  Thanks for the hot food!

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!
