Hi everyone, here's a cool little kit from "Inter-Action Enterprises" for turning a "Jordan" 1922 packard stake truck into this radio truck on wheels.
The kit was really well designed and went together well.
The hardest part was trying to fine the "Jordan" kit, now that they are no longer in business.
I eventually found one at a train show, so I was finally able to bring these 2 kits together.

Very nicely done, Greg!  My "radio ham" grandson would love it!  And only 85 years before he was born!! 🤣

Now there's something you don't see modeled every day.
Greg, thanks for sharing your interesting model.

Nice work, Greg. Greg, or Pete, I recall a modeler from Atlantic Canada who built a radio truck on RR-Line. He's passed, but I can't think of his name. Can either of you?

Thanks! James, Rick & Karl.

James, the only modeler that I can think of from the Atlantic Canada that would have modeled a radio truck is Bob Boudreau. I hope he is the one you are thinking of.

Railphotog Bob Boudreau, a very talented modeler of specialized equipment, had quite a collection of MofW equipment he had built. Snowplows of number of variations. If I recall he was a career member of the Canadian Coast Guard as well as a very talented photographer as his "handle" might suggest.

Agree with Karl....  Bob had some spectacular stuff on display in the old Railroad-line Forums.

Howdy Greg,

The car looks amazing.  You've done a fine job constructing it, especially for such a small vehicle.  Excellent craftsmanship is on display with this model.

Having built one of their kits, I find Inter-Action Enterprises' offerings to be nothing but first class.

Have fun,
mike

Thanks. Bob Boudreau is indeed the modeler I was thinking of.  I met him a couple of times when I went to the Maritime Federation of Model Railroaders conventions, but didn't know him otherwise except via RR-Line.

Cool!  Jordan's can be fussy to assemble.  Great job on the kit(s).

Mike & Jeff, thanks very much for your kind words!

Jeff, I'm glad that I was able to answer your question.
Bob, was indeed a great modeler!
