Good Morning Folks;

Well coffee is brewed so help yourself. Looks like another nice day in Central Florida. My plans are flexable today, probably some house cleaning and other honey do's. We have a swimming pool going in and today they are suppose to spray the final coating but at this point I see nobody. Florida construction is only one step up from Bahama time so I am not going to hold my breath..

Had a nice Palm Sunday, met up with part of the family, the nieces and nephews thought the train layout was cool. Well off to breakfast have a great day.

Bright hazy sun and moderate temperatures in Michigan this morning. Up to 550 already. It appears we've a nice day on hand. That's going to drag us outside later.

Our "beloved" deer intruded into our family twice yesterday. The Doll went out to admire her tulips that have been coming up nicely:

Later my younger son sent me this shot:

The last payment for the van is coming out today. He's bummed  :-*

How's it going out there?

The roofers arrived on time, to a nice sunny day.  The boss said they hope to finish today (because chance of showers tomorrow...)  So things are noisy here, and the dogs are not happy.  I'll need to sit with them, or maybe carry them to the basement to see if they'll be OK there.

Morning Jim and others,

Jim I hope the pool guys show up for the final coating.

Karl, at least the deer and cut an even chew.  8)  Sorry to see the son's van with the "boo-boo".

Have a great day everyone;

Morning crew. Been busy in the model shop working on the quarry cars and rotary dumper between rainy days and sunny days. I'll leave this picture for today. A write up is coming soon on how I got this far.

Work outside this afternoon. Wife and I need to clean up where we cut down three dead charry trees and one dead ash tree. The smaller branches need to be cut up and stacked. Our backs will be hurting tomorrow.

Have great day everybody.

Mornin,' All!

61, headed for 62 under mostly clear (!) skies here in the northern mitten today.  And, of course, we're on the list for WGFA tonight and tomorrow....  Go figure.  Happy Spring!

Laundry is in the dryer, grocery run is planned, and then who knows?  Actual training time would be nice!

Best wishes to those with the various calamities posted up.

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Morning all.

Busy morning here getting the son and grandchildren headed home.  Plumber has been here to replace a toilet and fix the garbage disposal as well.  Heading out to PT in a short time and a quick trip to Lowe's is also on the agenda.

Good afternoon, all. Sorry to hear about the deer, Karl. They prune our trees, shrubs and plantings but so far haven't sent me to the auto body shop.

Sunny and 60s in the lower Merrimack valley.  I've opened a few windows.  We went to the city this morning, did our errands and just finished a quick lunch.  Selectmen meet at 5, then a Flying Yankee Zoom after dinner. Signal parts arrived today but I doubt I'll get to them till tomorrow when forecast showers and cooler will make the attic a priority.

Hitting a deer sent us to the body shop, damage was several $k.  Fortunately, our insurance company covered it under Comprehensive, rather than Collision (so not a rated accident.)

Roofers are almost done, they pushed hard to finish today while the weather is really nice (showers predicted tomorrow.)  But there's one thing I expected them to do that I don't think has been done yet.  So if the boss comes over tonight to collect the check, we'll talk about that.

One additional thing to think about, folks:  Deer love Tulips, so you either have to fence them in closely and carefully, or enjoy looking at  them elsewhere....  They have other attractions, too, but tulips are so much a favorite that we gave up on them decades ago....
