Morning all.

Sunny and 75 here later today.  I need to do a little weathering on the roofs of the kit and update the build thread.

Let's have a great week, people!

8) [ font=Arial]Sun and chilly in my neighborhood today mid 50s headed to 650 a stiff breeze adds to the joy.

Been having trouble with a raccoon tearing down the bird feeder on the deck. He knock it down and emptied it over night and ignored the  ;) live trap.  :-\

Mr. Jay seemed to find his way in, tho, as did a squirrel a bit later :o   I'll leave it unset until this evening.

Plenty to do here. Am on 3rd day of mowing. May need to start over soon. The sun may hang on long enough to keep me warm for the rest of the job.

That's all.  :-\

Afternoon all,

Just finished taking care of the parking situation for our upcoming trip. A few minor things to address, like picking up an extra memory card for the camera. Guess I'll spend some time at the workbench next. It's too hot/humid to do anything outside at the moment (92 degrees/52% humidity).

Have a great one!

Afternoon all,

My 1:1 chore of cleaning the vinyl fence is over. I'm now in the train shed and tryi9ng to get motivated to work on something.

Hope all are having a great day.

Get 2 memory cards, and at least 1 extra battery!  There's nothing worse than running out of either*.  My goal is to never have to reuse a memory card during a trip, and to have 2 days worth of batteries for the most active shooting.

Bon voyage!

*  Actually, there is something worse:  That's discovering your battery charger has malfunctioned and -ruined- your camera batteries instead of charging them.  That happened to me at the NNGC Convention in Boone NC about 15 years ago...

Good afternoon, all.  Phone's weather had said rain about 2pm, then took it back. But I felt a few sprinkles at the predicted time, so I'm glad I took the first load of laundry off the line after lunch.  Since then it's gotten back to partly cloudy and there's a smaller second load hanging. No model work yet today, maybe after dinner.
