Good Morning,

The coffee pot's on along with your other morning beverages. Breakfast cheesy scrambled eggs, English muffins, and hash browns. There's a bottle of hot sauce if you want a little more pep in your step.

What's going on today.

It's another sunny 52 with a high of 81 in New York. Going to get my back & neck cracked shortly but not sure about the rest of the day. I'll take it as it comes.

Have a great day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Sun and 50s with rain promised later. Bench time?

Lots of folks seeing the Northern Lights last night but it was just dark here with some high level clouds lit by the half crescent lunar light.

We went to Michael's for supplies yesterday and stopped at Cracker Barrel to find a fair meal but few customers on hand.  Our area place has survived unmolested by the corporate foolishness. I could see the value of a lighter paint job if they kept all the old stuff that, to me, defines the place.

Bench time possible today. The Doll has eBay stuff to ship out today. I may list a thing I found recently for resale.

Be well all, safe and dry.

Good morning everyone.

Going to be sunny and low 90's here at the park.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope the cracking makes you feel better.

Greg, congratulations on the deposit.

TomO, I'm sure those brats will be tasty.

Mike, I don't understand what you meant about the castings needing more tilt.

Ron, how's the bent construction going?

Karl, it's a little early for the leaves to start turning isn't it?

Dave, thanks for the tip on the view point for Baker, but the fire at Perry and other smaller fires in the area has created too much smoke to get any clear views.

ACLTom, how was bowling and are you happy with the new rules?

Jerry, how was dinner and BTW, Star is a girl.  ;D

Curt, the details you painted look great.

We did our hike to Blue Lake yesterday.
5 miles and 948' of EG.
There's one more hike I want to do before leaving.
I'll drive to that trailhead today so I'm ready to go first thing in the morning.

This was from the hike on Mount Pilchuck.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Karl.
Too much smoke in the air here to see any lights.

Rick, great photo (despite the smoke)!

Good morning Larry, Karl, Rick, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry, hope the "Cracking" goes well.

Karl, living in the city the chances of seeing the northern light are rare to none.  I did see them once when camping in Northern Ontario.

Rick, Enjoy your hike today.

Dave, have a great day.

It's currently 17c (63f) with clear skies.  NO modeling last night as by the time I got home from work and has supper I was too tired to do anything else, I guess I needed to rest from all the past weekend work.  :o  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and eggs.  Hope your crackin' went well.

Karl, nice photo.  So many stars.  Good luck on eBay.

Rick, you asked about 3D prints needing more tilt. As it turns out, slanting prints 30-45 degrees helps the printing process.  It is possible that the incorrect slant can cause parts of the object not to print at all or cause a weakness.  The weakness was my problem, I think.  I'll modify (slant) the parts and try again.

Howdy Dave.

Ron, hope the work that pays for hobbies slacks off a bit.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning with a forecast of 84°F.  Not sure what the day has in store.  There is so much to do upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

Morning everyone

Morning Dave.

Ron hope you get the strength back to model tonight!  ;D

MIke have a nice day whatever you do.

This is not beach weather but we will take anyway beautiful day.
Not sure what the day will bring.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

PRR Modeler

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry.

I got started on inside chores before posting today. After several hours I finished and I'm done for the day.

Received notice the oil paint will be delivered later today. I probably won't do anything in the train room today. Too pooped to pop as my Mom used to say.

Not much happening this way besides the late thunderstorms. Tomorrow I need to get chlorine.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 74F with mild humidity. It actually felt cooler this morning.

Yesterday all I accomplished were chores. For some reason they wore me out.

Today I need to clean pool filters, get chlorine and get mineral spirits from ACE. The oil paints came in so I'll be experimenting with them today also.

That's enough blathering for today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Lots of sun with highs in the mid 70's here today.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and bagel.
Hope the pool work goes well.

I'm up early to do another hike.
Star can't come because it's in the park.

I'm on my phone this morning and that's why I'm keeping it brief this morning.

Have a great day everyone.

ACL1504

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

Rick, I was re-elected league pres. again and everyone was happy with the new rules. The new rules will cut back on those that want to "sand bag" their scores.

I did nothing yesterday. Got up, felt very bad and went back to bed and stayed there all day.  Slept most of the day and slept great last night. Don't know if I just needed the sleep, rest or what. Whatever though, I feel great today.

We are taking Emee to the groomer this morning and then Pam and I will go to the grocery store.

I'll be in the train room later this afternoon.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Temps in the mid 40s this morning in MI with a  clear sky and sun.  We had a prolific rain event yesterday that will be welcome by most.  It chased me to the basement. :D  I managed to get some work done on the layout.  Never at a loss for work, just ambition.  ;)

Little going today, mid afternoon PT session is the "highlight"  ::) The Doll was summoned to the dentist office for an 0800 opening that they had.  $$$ :-\

It seems that the cooler weather and some winds and rain will be with us for the next few days.  When were were out yesterday I saw more signs, early(?) of fall color changes and some of the bean fields, soy beans here about, are transitioning as well.
Karl

Larry C

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. I got tired just reading your chore list.
Have fun with the paints.

Rick have a safe hike.

Tom hope Emee likes the groomer and don't spend too much $$$ at the grocery store. Enjoy the shed.

Karl hope the PT goes well and isn't too painful.

What's your plans for the day.

It's another sunny 66 with a high of 81 in New York. They're calling for storms and wind late this afternoon; hopefully nothing too bad. Had the furnace cleaned yesterday and the fuel oil is paid for the season so I guess we're set for what lies ahead.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and stay safe.
