Good morning folks,

TomACL, thanks for opening.  Good luck with the surgery.  Thanks for the comments about my family visits.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  Wow, now that's a bunch of cuties.  Good luck with the adoptions.

Larry, good luck with the painting.

Karl, wishing you a fun time operating at Andy's.  Howdy to the gang for me.

Dave, good luck with the tool layout and your 1:1 project.

Rick, thanks for the waterfall photo.  Cool name for the monument.  Good luck with the camp site.

Ron, bon voyage.  Wishing you safe travels to the north.

Philip, have a good one.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning in Georgia, but rain is headed this way again.  It rained every day I was gone.

It's great to be home.  This morning was filled with one-to-one activities, including filling bird feeders, setting new mouse traps on the patio, writing thank-you cards for last week's visits, walking to the mailbox, and unloading the car, among other tasks.  I need a rest now, lol.

Next up on the workbench will be completing the water tower and working on the layout.

Have fun,
mike

Hazy eve in warm mid-Michigan where it's been warmer than Jax-ville!  870 when leaving the session. We had a nice easy going session today. It's nice to see the friends and run a few trains and shoot some bulls.

Not quite a bull but we were treated by a brief visit from bit of venison on the hoof this evening.

Quite the view of the beauty of nature we've been blessed with here at times.

Be well all.

Coffee urn is plugged in but didn't turn it because it's way too early.
Next person in can make breakfast too.

I'm up extremely early because I'm doing a few hikes and hope to get some good sunrise pics.

This was sunrise yesterday at my campsite in Carey.

Good morning from Wisconsin. Terry and I overnighted in a place called Soldiers Grove. Per the local info page online:

Soldiers Grove is a village situated along the Kickapoo River in Crawford County, Wisconsin, in the United States. The population was 552 at the 2020 census. The town is notable for having relocated its central business district due to flooding on the nearby Kickapoo River during the 1970s, and has become a case study in best practices for managed retreat.

It is located it the Driftless region of Wisconsin. An 8000 square mile area of the state that the glaciers did not touch. Lots of hills and valleys and gorgeous scenery.

We had to get away for the night as everyone was getting on each other's nerves but mainly my brother and me. He has his girlfriend and his assistant is staying 10 minutes from the house. Both his ladies said they will handle him and his exercising. So we took off

We will have breakfast in about 35 minutes and take some more back roads home. Per maps a straight route is 1 hour 34 minutes but avoiding highways puts us at 2.5 hours.

Great pictures Rick and Karl.

Enjoy the day

Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Beautiful photo and
enjoy your day of rest.

What's the rest of you up to.

It's a sunny 73 with a high of 84 in New York. May have to mow the lawn later before the
rain comes tomorrow. Been spending some time at the bench working on my next build and trying
to figure out how all this is going to come together. Looks like the next couple of hot days
will be met with fresh veggies from the Farm Stand down the road.

Have a great day. Be well, heal up, and stay safe.

Have a great Wednesday!

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. I'll take a second cup since I've had a bowl of raisin bran already.

Started out the day with a walk at 78F and high humidity. We might of got some rain last night but I might of been dreaming.

MOH is on her way to see her BFF in SC. It's about a 6 hour drive.

Yesterday we celebrated our 47th anniversary. Not bad for only dating for 9 weeks before our marriage. Our goal on our 50th is to go to the Galopagoes (sp). That is $$$$.

The repair parts for the power vacuum came in so SIL is coming over to help with the last screen and do the maintenance on the vacuum.

Bob welcome back home. It sounds like you had a terrific time.

Philip best wishes for Gena and your back.

I hope everyone has a good day.

G'day from rainy Michigan.  We are behind on rain so I guess, why not just stay in and let it drip.  Severe is forecast for late in the day :o .  Temps in the 80s we've not acclimated to are here, the humids are piling up as well.

Nice pic, Rick, vivid clouds once they showed up.

Little to add today.  Will enjoy travel stories as they filter out.  :D

Be well all.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Nice photo with clouds.

Larry, enjoy the lawn, bench, and veggies.  Summer fun!

Philip, good luck to Gena today.  Hope your back improves.

Curt, congratulations on #47.  Good luck with the pool.

Karl, glad you had a fun time at Andy's.

Gregory, wishing you a great day!

Jerry, hope Izzy enjoyed her spa day.

TomO, back road cruises are fun!

How is the rest of the crew?

It's yet another rainy day in Georgia.  We've had rain every day for weeks.  Yesterday was busy with 1:1 stuff, but I got it all done.  Today I plan to finish a woodworking project's design for the lodge.

Have fun,
mike
