Morning All!

Decoder is in and tested. Runs great except the speaker is rattling around and the Led headlight isn't working. I'm learning with the TCS auto assist. Sounds like a female bossing an illiterate (me). Not sure what I did wrong on the LED. Most likely crossed wires.

Another hot day in store.  Gena has a new ID card and we had dinner at a Mexican joint in Brandenburg. Was delicious!

The riding mower solenoid in the float is stuck so it's not getting fuel. Need to attend to that today...maybe.

Have a great day!

Good morning Curt, Rick, Mike, Larry, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick.  Safe travels.

Curt, don't over do it in the heat.

Mike,  Have fun working on the water tower.

Larry, Good luck cutting up the tree.

Philip, hope the solenoid is an easy fix.

Currently 78F and cloudy today, should start getting cooler in the next couple of days.  Well no bench time or cleanup last night as I forgot I had a zoom meeting with the dirty thirty gang.  At least I remembered the meeting.  ;D  Hopefully I get the cleanup done tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all, Black coffee to get me rolling.

On the Oregon coast today, a little drizzly and clouds, 55 now with a high expected of 59. Wearing a flannel shirt after the hot weather in Colorado the last couple of weeks just feels weird.

I'll be going with my son and oldest grand daughter to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, which is about 44 miles south of here. I am looking forward to that as I have heard only good things about the aquarium.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
That picture sure cooling!

Curt take it easy in the heat.

Mike I see your chores are done for the day.

Larry be careful with the chainsaw.

Philip the Mexican dinner sounded good.

Funny how cleanups get pushed back isn't it Ron!!  :)

Weather in South Jersey is hot 94 already.  Going to 98.
No beach it's just as hot there.
So maybe a little bench time if the room stays cool for an hour or so.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning from So Central Wisconsin. Maybe rain the balance of the day but per radar we are on the lower edge of the storms rolling north east of us.

Terry has a doctor at 1:30 and I will play the chauffeur. Grandson has hockey at 5:30. Dinner will be out

I am just pondering my stock market guesses. I finished a major review of my portfolio last week. I'm in good shape as all are dividend producers and should be held. But last night I was thinking why?

Good afternoon, all. Still hot on the NH seacoast, but the weather is forecast to break this evening: 91F high today, 69F high Thursday,  I've done several postponed chores, so maybe a dip in the Gulf of Maine this afternoon (58F according to Hampton NH's website)..

Good evening the bar is open. All the doom and gloom predictions and warnings of badddd weather have missed my section of Wisconsin. So far...

All sorts of beverages available this evening and since Terry and I had either a late lunch or early dinner at 3, I made lots of popcorn.

I have the NBA draft on the TV only because I wanted to see who the Milwaukee Bucks would draft and also the Chicago Bulls. No worries on the Bucks as they do not have a pick and it looks like about an hour yet to get to the Bulls. I did write down a name, Jeremiah Fears out of Oklahoma went to New Orleans. With the ridiculous jewelry and the amount he was wearing I predict he will be broke and out of the league in 5 years.

Rick

Tom, glad the storms missed you.

I'll have a virtual Founders Breakfast Stout with some popcorn.
Did you ever try that stout and how was it if you did?

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 75F and new tennies! Yesterday I pulled weeds for about an hour. I've been using a shower chair as much as possible to save my knees. Well about that, I leaned too far over on one side fell landing on a raised concrete edge. I cute my palm deeply and really scraped my forearm. Combat weeding!

Today after regular chores and pool filter I have a small area that needs weeded then I'll hit it with grass killer. There's one more area to do after today but I always do it with my son and he asked to do it next week.

Not much else happening this way.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Curt, thanks for breakfast and the email. Both appreciated, thank you.

I appreciate all the thoughts, prayers and condolences for the loss of Pam's mother. Although expected, it was very quick. Pam is now in the process of going through all the papers and personal items. We spent a few days notifying all friends and relatives.

Thank you all also for the concern on my leg surgeries. The right leg was a little more sore than the left after the slice and dice. I'm up and in the train shed after the past four days of having my leg elevated. My leg is stinging like crazy so I guess it is healing fine.

I'll spend some time getting caught up on the forum and stuff and then back to the FOS garage build thread. I'm taking Pam out to dinner late this afternoon.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Take 'er easy with the weeding; I don't think it's supposed to
be hazardous to your health. Say did you ever get that new kit from Brett (SW)?

Tom it's always tough loosing a parent but time heals things. Nice to hear you're up and about after the leg surgery; just don't overdue and looking forward to any garage updates.

What happening wit the rest of you.

It's a cloudy and much cooler 70 with a high of 77 in New York. Looks like some rain's coming our way so no outside work today; I guess I'll just have to spend some time at the bench; tears ensue. Spent a couple of hours working on the downed tree yesterday until my back said stop and I got sick of the skeeters gnawing on me. Managed to get one big limb cleaned up and now have 2 piles of branches piled up. This project is definitely going to take a few weeks to complete.

Have a great day!!! Be well and be safe.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

It will be partly cloudy and a high of 70 when I get to Grand Teton NP.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and muffin.
Sorry about the weed war injuries.
Hope they heal quickly.

ACLTom, glad you are up and about and healing.
Enjoy dinner with Pam tonight.

Larry, take your time with the tree and do it safely.
I sent a PM yesterday.

TomO, how'd you do with the draft prediction?

James, how was the dip?

Karl, excellent rainbow picture.
Glad the hearing hasn't gotten worse.

Jerry, was it cool at the bench?

Dale, how was the aquarium?

Ron, clean-up?

Philip, riding mower running?

Mike, your water tank is outstanding.

Greg, how's business?

Drove back to Palisades, ID yesterday.
Today I'll drive to Grand Teton NP.
Should be less than a two hour drive.
Might stop in the park briefly to get a map and tourist guide.
Then find a campsite just outside the park.

A view from my hike on the Palisades Creek Trail.

Morning!

I watered the garden this morning and washed the car in the driveway. Hot at 0730 before the sun was up. Curt our potato and corn is weed city but the peppers and tomato's are looking pretty good. We don't use any chemicals so weeds win. Sorry about the fall!

Wishing you and your family comfort Tom.

Riding mower is not attended to yet. I ordered another speaker for the decoder and the LED wires were crossed. Had to change CV29 to correct the direct, another mistake.

Gena has a breast exam today and another appt next week for a possible hernia. Never a dull moment.

Beat the heat and stay hydrated! Have a good en!
