Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Combat weed eating for sure!  Hope your wounds heal quickly.

TomACL, good to hear your leg is healing well.  Enjoy your time with Pam.

Larry, good luck finishing the tree cutting.  I think the worst thing about the outdoors this year is the mosquito plague! I'm still itchy from two-week-old bites.

Rick, safe travels.  Hope you find a terrific camping spot.  Thanks for the water tower compliment.

Philip wishing good results from Gena's tests. Congrats on the decoder fix.

Jerry, have fun at the beach.  Hope it cools off there.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a cloudy morning after a night of thunderstorms and rain.  That's what my wife said, I slept through it.  Cooler today at 89F.  Physical therapy this morning, then grocery shopping, and maybe some time upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

It's good to see all are doing as we expect at this time, Curt, ouch.. :(
The weather here in MI didn't "break" as much as hoped so it's warm and humid already early, hazy sky.

Prep for trek North today, travel tomorrow.  Pain clinic referral never happened, doc said they would, the place apparently has enough business, one more can wait :-X . So Ibuprofen will be my friend for the next month, sort of.

Little to add.  I pretend but really not a big fan of the trip...

Be well all.  WIll check in IF the comms allow.  I canned the less than half a$$ed microwave internet after having about a 40% availability rate last year.

Later all, stay well.

Larry, careful with the tree.

Good morning Curt, ACLTom, Larry, Rick, Philip, Jerry, Mike, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, take it easy with the outside chores.

ACLTom, glad you leg surgeries went well and is healing well, have fun at dinner with Pam.

Larry, hope the back isn't too bad.

Rick, hope you find a good camping spot.

Philip,  have a great day.

Jerry, nice to see you posting project updates again.  ;D

Mike, hope you get to make it upstairs.

Karl, have fun packing for the trip up north.

Currently 66F with rain in the forecast today.  Started cleaning up and putting stuff away in the modeling room.  Still have some stuff to put away and a couple of printers to relocate.  Hopefully that will all get done tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone, it cloudy and mid 50s on the Oregon coast this morning. Just like it has been for the time I have been here, just what I would expect here.

The aquarium yesterday was good, but a lot of young children...including my 2 young grand daughters. I'm not around a lot of children these days so I have to admit the number of kids running around was starting to grate on my nerves...lol. But the grandkids had a wonderful time so it was worth the anxiety.

Not sure what today will bring but I am sure it will be an enjoyable time.

Hope everyone has a great day

Good Morning,

Breakfast this morning is hash and eggs along with the usual morning beverages.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a cloudy 62 with a high of 78 in New York and most likely some rain. A few errands to
run this am then maybe some more time at the bench. Other than that not sure about the rest of the day.

Have a great day!! Be well and be safe.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry.

Pam and I have many errands to run today in relation to her mom's passing. Not sure I'll get to the work bench today. I spent most of yesterday reading the past weeks posts.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Morning sun and warm going to hot after a couple of gully washers and a toad choker of quick in and out storms yesterday afternoon here in lower MI.

Packing the car and sedating the )(*&^% cats in prep of a trek up to Northrn Command shortly.  No idea how 'net/cell coverage will be. :-\  Headed up the middle finger of the mitten. ::)

Be well all, stay safe.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, the coffee and breakfast.  Enjoy the bench.

TomACL, good luck with the errands.  Stay cool.

Karl, safe travels up North.  Hope the weather is good up there.

Dale, nice to have time with the family.  Enjoy the day.

Ron, hope the organization went well.

How goes the rest of the gang?

It's a bright morning and cooler today at 91F.  Not quite sweater weather, but cooler.  I didn't make it upstairs yesterday afternoon; maybe I'll try again today.  Lunch with our daughter should be a lot of fun.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning everyone.

Jackson, WY weather: Sunny, with a high near 81.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Have fun at the bench.

Mike, enjoy lunch with your daughter.

Karl, safe travels up north.

ACLTom, I'm sure those errands won't be fun.

Dale, I know exactly how you felt yesterday with all those kids running around.

Ron, will you continue working on the N scale or the On30 next?

Jerry, hope it will be a cooler day today.

Curt, I guess you're busy with chores.

Philip, all the best to Gena on those tests.

Made it to Wyoming OK.
Found an outstanding place to camp for the night.
Probably the best view I've had yet.
Was going to stay at this spot another night.
But I've decided to stay in town tonight to be closer to the park.
I'm going to get an early sunrise start on a hike tomorrow.

Morning all. More appointments today. Have a good one!

Out ;D

Tom, i'm sure the next week or so will be hard on Pam and you.  One thing I learned from handling my wife's estate, be sure to get a dozen copies of the death certificate.  It seemed every time I talked to someone, they wanted a copy.

And just to share, a friend went in Monday for literal brain surgery, a non-cancerous tumor behind his sinus, near the pituitary gland.  It went much better than expected, he was out of there 3 hours early.  The tumor did not actually touch the gland, so that's very good news.  I was kidding him, "Now you do have the proverbial 'hole in the head'."

I'm doing more cogitation on the shaft layout for the machine shop, I think I'm close to a final design that I need to capture.  The weather yesterday and today has been great, of course tomorrow it will rain.

Good morning all, thanks for the coffee Larry.

Rick that is one beautiful campsite!

Weather on the Oregon coast: 52 now around 60 for a high, cloudy. The temp or weather has not changed much since I got here, just hanging in the 50s with lots of clouds.

This is my last day, I fly out tonight and back to the reality of summer in Northern Colorado.

Everytime I visit the PNW I am reminded just how much I miss the region. It's home to me where Northern Colorado is just where I live. Sad to leave but I need to grind out my last 1 1/2 yrs of work. Once I retire in 2027 we may be looking for someplace else to land besides Colorado. Wife thinks we should retire to Maine (of course, that is home to her), I think the PNW. I guess there really isn't a bad choice between the 2. Maine is nice also, and a lot cheaper than the PNW but it is so different than being out west. Time will tell where, if anywhere at all, we will move to for retirement. It may turn out to be in our best interest to sit right where we are at. No matter the choice hopefully our health will hold out so we can do some traveling.

Meeting my son and his family for breakfast then I will be off to Portland. If I have time I know there are a couple of good hobby shops to visit. We will see how the clock looks when I get to Portland .

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning All,

As Rick mentioned as soon as I finished a cup of coffee I was working on the extensive honey-do's for the 2 night stay of MOH's BFF from SC. :o I think I'm pretty much done now except some odds and ends.

MOH did make sausage biscuits after awhile. ;D She's making pulled pork for supper.

Larry enjoy the bench work.

Tom I hope today goes smoothly.

Karl have fun in the middle finger. :o

Mike have fun at lunch with your daughter.

Rick I hope the hike was great.

Philip good luck with the appointments.

Dave great news for your friend.

Dale when we retired (first time) I wanted to move to outside Charleston SC where MOH grew up but the wife didn't. We ended up in FL and in the end it worked out well for us.

I hope everyone has a good day.
