Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening Karl.

Thanks for breakfast Tom. Enjoy your day.

Last night a downstairs smoke detector went off around 2230. By the time I got downstairs it had stopped. I may need to move it since a air vent is very close to it. About 2330 I woke up coughing so I took some OTC cough syrup and that's the last thing I remember until 0645 this morning. It must have a sleep aid in it.

Today the electrician is supposed to be here late morning and Kathy has to drive to the Merrit Island area (about a 60 minute drive) to pick up a surrendered skunk of a person that is critically ill. No idea how long Titan (the name) will be here.

Karl very pretty flower.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Bend weather: Sunny, with a high near 81.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Glad you got the photo editor working.

Curt, hopefully you're feeling better.

Karl, hope there's only good news at the doctor.

Mike, nice family picture on FB and how was the movie?

Ron, your update shows more great interior detailing.

Philip, time for a net?

Jerry, how was the beach?

How's the rest of the crew doing?

As promised didn't do much of anything yesterday.
Today I head back to Bend for some shopping.
Maybe a gym visit too.

This was yesterday at camp during sunrise.

Good morning Karl, ACLTom, Curt, Rick and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, have fun at the workbench today.

Karl, hope the Doc trip goes well.

Curt, hope the electricians figure out what is going on and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg to fix it.

Rick, shopping and the gym, sounds like fun.

Currently 78 and sunny here.  Yesterday some more time was spent at the bench and I posted my progress on the Henderson Thread.  I made the counters and hopefully tonight I'll bee able to make the stools required.  At least nothing needs to be perfect as it is N scale and not sure how much will be seen though the windows.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

Karl hope the Doc trip is just routine one?

Tom thanks for the breakfast & coffee.
Have fun at the bench.

Curt at least you got to sleep.
Safe trip for Kathy.

Rick it never hurts to have a day of nothing!

Ron your work in "N" is amazing!

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/68.
We did make to the beach yesterday to see friends and the granddaughters.
Today we were going to go back but with the clouds I'm not sure about that.
But it was really nice to get the feet in the sand.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning from Pasadena! Still have May Gray here as the surrounding mountains can't be seen behind what looks to me like fog. In June it's called June Gloom! 61f degrees heading 80.

It should be a good day for walking around. The plan is breakfast at an old diner called Andy's. It's about 4 blocks from our hotel on Colorado Blvd which is also Old Route 66. Then walk back, relax and go about 1.4 miles the other way down Colorado Blvd to Old Pasadena where we have been before but we are not up for any real adventures today. We'll hit my sister's around 3pm after her 2pm daily pills and nap! Dinner tonight out and hoping for Italian but many of the restaurants here are closed Tuesdays. We will walk everywhere today. There are so many restaurants near my sister and she handles her walker like a stock car!

I did get to the Original Whistle Stop last week. It reminds me so much of the Chicago area train shops we had as a kid. I'm still fascinated by glass cabinets filled with brass locomotives. The Original Whistle Stop IMOO has one of the best book sections in the USA. Yes, I spent!

We head off around noon to Vegas on Wednesday. My brother is having hip replacement surgery Thursday and I will be with him. His girlfriend and Terry will fly to Scottsdale as the g/f has medical checkups for her cancer. Been in remission but needs 12 week check ups. The brother has been told by his doctor he'll be golfing in a 2 weeks with the replacement procedures he will use. We will see about that!

We have had a great time but California like, Arizona and Texas for various reasons is just not for us. Terry loves Maui but as most of you know the scenery and weather is out of this world, but boring to me. I don't want to play golf every day. We will get there later in June and July for a couple weeks. My brother's last minute surgery has changed a few things and neither of us wanted to be on Maui without him. It's nice to be retired as plans are always flexible

Curt, get well!

Enjoy the day
TomO

Good morning folks,

Karl, thanks for opening.  Good luck at the doc's.

TomACL, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  Congrats on the photo program fix.

Curt, congrats on the night of sleep.  It's healing.  Good luck with the repairman.

Rick, glad you had a restful day.  Enjoy the shopping.

Ron, Henderson is looking terrific.  So much detail in N scale...wow.

Jerry, glad you enjoyed the beach.  I hope the clouds clear today.

TomO, sounds like your family activities out west have been fun.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another rainy day with the high only 73°F.  We enjoyed the movie yesterday.  It was intense and nostalgic.  Today I am back at the bench, working on the tedious task of applying cedar shingles to the hex roof.  I'll post some photos in the build thread.  Tonight is Masonic Lodge, which is always a treat.

Have fun,
mike

Busy concreting the greenhouse floor. 20, 80lb bags.  I see light at the sorta end of the tunnel. Gloomy cool day today!

Rick I made some cages out of tractor supply wire mesh. A 25 ft roll did 18 but more are needed. She made some netting also but just a tiny bit.

Worked on the Camelback last night. What a stress reliever!

Have a great day....Tuesday me thinks... ;)

Good Afternoon,

Been a busy day here, a sunny 72, with grocery shopping, a trip to the hardware store, finished trimming, and tried out the new hedge trimmer which made short work of that task. Went and bought flowers and planted all of those with some new potting soil. I think I'm pooped!!!!!

Tomorrow it's back to rain for a few days so I can rest then along with making a few phone calls and hopefully some bench time.

Have a great rest of your day!!!! Be well.

Good morning everyone.

Redmond weather: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 86.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
I got the waffle iron plugged in and a bowl of batter next to it.
Make as many as you'd like.
Of course fresh churned Wisconsin butter, real Michigan maple syrup along with crispy bacon and sausage are all out too.

Greg, I'm sure there will be more thunder bumpers today.

Larry, hope you make good progress at the bench.

Philip, that should protect the crops and glad you found the bench.

Dave, can you please unpin Geezer Lounge vol. 1.

Mike, your roof and the way you weathered it looks amazing.

TomO, you must of had a ball at the Whistle Stop and safe travels today.

Jerry, did you get all the sand off your feet?  ;D

Ron, any more interior detailing yesterday?

Curt, hope you slept better and the electrical issue is solved.

Karl, hope there was all good news at the doctor.

Dale, your build is looking fantastic.

ACLTom, your latest update is looking very good as well.

Fridge and pantry are stocked and I did make it to the gym.
Today is laundry day.
Tomorrow will be a hiking day.

Speaking of hiking, I uploaded the hike Star and I did on Sunday: https://youtu.be/AM9WVIWdINA

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Very nice video.

Started out the day with a walk at 73F and high humidity left from the strong thunderstorms last night. We recieved about 1.5 inches of rain.

I actually slept well last night without issue. ;D After chores I'll try to get to the workbench.

The electrician was here yesterday checking everything out. The only issue he found was the kitchen GFI was wired incorrectly (my error). He said he didn't understand why it had worked at all. The coffee pot is back in it's place and giving no issues. He said if the issue returns give him a call. He said no charge! :o We did tip him via a online app. Great customer service.

Jerry what movie did you see?

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thank you for opening, coffee, and waffles.  Thanks for the compliment.  I enjoyed the hike and wasn't nearly as tired as Star and you.  ;D

Curt, congrats for sleeping through the night. Life is good now that the coffee pot is working.

Gregory, hope the storms weren't too bad.

Larry, congrats on the flower planting.  I recommend taking it easy today, except for work at the bench.

Philip, glad you weren't totally exhausted from the concrete work and had time for the bench.

Dave, glad you made it to the Whistle Stop.  It is a whole-day visit.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another overcast day with more rain in the forecast, along with 83F.  We had a tornado hit a mile or so near us.  Fortunately, it went back upstairs before the front arrived.

Today I hope to finish the tower roof and begin work on the spout details.

Have fun,
mike

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick.

Curt, happy to see you got the walk in so you must be felling better.

We got an hours worth of rain early yesterday evening. My yard love it.

I have a postal run when they open at 9AM this morning and then I'll spend the rest of the day in the train shed working on the Magnuson build.

Have safe, healthy and happy day everyone.

Morning all!

Thanks for the waffle mix Rick!

Kinda drizzley today....

Provision run today~

Old Mother Hubbard,
Went to the Cupboard,
To give the poor Dog a bone;
When she came there,
The Cupboard was bare,
And so the poor Dog had none.

Ended up in the basement after a long day in concrete. Installed the pilot step, coupler, coupler trip brackets and bumpers. Must have dropped those tiny parts more than usual. Dropping the parts is easy but the picking up was a chore.

Have a great Wednesday crew!
