Today one of my dogs goes in for dental work including at least one extraction.  She doesn't have many teeth left, poor thing!  (Apparently it's a common problem in toy poodles.)  Last night she was on minimal food with medicine, and this morning at 4:30 she woke us up to go out, because her tummy is upset.  But once that nasty infected tooth is gone, I'm sure she'll feel better.

Good morning Larry, Mike, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry, hope the tree whacking goes well.

Mike, enjoy your day.

Dave, hope the dog's teeth surgery goes well.

Currently 23C (73F) and cloudy here today.  Thanks everyone for the Canada Day wishes, had a great day yesterday.  No modeling during the day but did manage a little bench time last night as I worked on the turnouts for the staging yard last night as I started adding wires to the frogs and drilling holes on the throw bars for the throw wires.  Plan is to continue doing that this evening.

Have a great day everyone.

Nice and quiet by the lakeshore this morning. More late day storms coming.

The Doll is making fresh hummingbird juice. One just flew up to my water bottle then hovering a foot from my face...pleading...I told him I'd ask.

Just heard a loon, there is a wren here chattering constantly since 0530.

Be well all.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry.

Started out the day with a walk at 75F and very humid from the heavy evening rain which gave us about another 2".

Dropped off the van at the shop for a possible transmission issue. ??? After getting back home I did the floors and now I'm waiting for the pool timer to cut off at 11 am so I can clean the filter.

At 3:30 today we are meeting up with a person that has severe allergies but wants a skunk and needs to handle one ahead of time. I've always heard that skunk hair is hypoallergenic. We will see I guess.

Tom I hope you and Pam are doing well.

Dave good luck at the vet today.

This is Ti who is the rescue that sleeps on me. This is her sleeping on her back next to me.

Good afternoon, busy morning in the garden plus a trip for mulch, soil and weed eater head. Much less humidity today. We need rain bad!

Speaker arrived after lost in the Louisville black hole for 3 days. Troubled post office.

May get some play time today.

Good health to you all and the critters!

Just scored this basket case for $27.50 delivered on ebay. Lots of repair parts I suppose. I guess deliver s spot $ will be from a sling shot!

Good Morning All,

Breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, pastry, OJ, and soda.

Today is more pool maintenance, getting jugs of chlorine, and pulling the last of the weeds with son. Also the lawn guy is supposed to cut the grass today at some point.

Had a pet scare last night. Dad was in the garage and when he came inside he didn't close the door completely (inside door to garage). It was discovered around 8:30 pm. Luckily no one wondered in. As hot as the garage is I would be afraid of heat stroke. Everyone was in the kitchen bright and early for breakfast. ;D

Philip nice looking engine. Have fun  fixing it.

Here's Ti hogging my chair after I get up.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Jackson weather: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 75.

I see Curt is here as well so maybe a choice for breakfast.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
I had a large dinner yesterday so something light for breakfast today.
Fresh out of the oven coffee cake to go along with your beverage of choice.

Philip, congratulations on the new engine.

Greg, sorry about the computer issues.  :-\

Curt, great news on the lower cost repair.
Excellent photo of your new buddy.

Jerry, bench progress?

Karl, nice colors in your sunrise shot.

Ron, how's the track work going?

Dave, hope the pup is doing well after the dental procedure.

Mike, more eating and reading today?

Larry, tree project done?

I was up and out early yesterday to get sunrise pictures at Oxbow Bend and maybe some wildlife shots as well.
It was an OK sunrise and got some shots that I haven't started working on yet.
There was no wildlife to be seen.
Went to two other spots in search of bears but both were closed because of bear activity.  :-\
But I wanted to see the bear activity.  ;)  :)
Went out to dinner again with my friends last night.
They're leaving today to go back to Joisey.
Figured I might as well leave too and start making my way to SLC.

A longer video of my hike to Taggart and Bradley Lakes: https://youtu.be/A_V_GbnO6vg

And a picture of Delta Lake.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick

Curt, good morning.
Glad all the critters are OK.
Ti reminds me of Star hogging the bed.

Morning Gents,

Philip sweet score on the new loco; hopefully the repairs go well.

Curt thanks for coffee and breakfast. Cute critter; I guess animals want to be comfortable
no matter what the species.

Rick I'll take another cup-o-joe and a small piece of coffee cake to go with. YES I'm happy to report the tree is all cut up; now I just need to stack yesterday's wood then mow the lawn.

What's happening?

Had some rain and thunder early this am but nothing serious. Now it's a sunny 64 on the back porch with a high of 82 in New York. Like I said the tree is all cut up and my lower back is happy about that. Maybe some bench time this morning and I need to order about 4 2 axle On18 cars and link & pin couplers from Carrol Creek so I can start playing trains.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee.
Ti looks like it's his chair not yours.  ;D

Rick thanks for the coffee cake.
Glad you had a nice time with your friends from Jersey.

Larry sounds like you got the tree under control now.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/73.  Later on 85.
Could be a beach day will see.
Got my yard work caught up yesterday but there is still some weeds to pull.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)
