Good morning, and it is a -good- morning in SE NH.  A cold front came through last night with cooler and DRIER air.  It's 69 on the way to 80.  Dew Point is 59, compared to 74 last night.

The last couple of days have been a loss for me.  I just haven't felt like doing anything, including eating.  But with a better night's sleep last night (and a good night coming up, I hope), I should have energy to get back to the machine shop.

Good Morning,

Mike easy with the lime; that can be nasty stuff to work with. Thanks for the compliment,
just a little extra something to the scene.

Tom thank for the coffee and breakfast. Looking forward to your update.

Dave the hot sticky weather can take anyone's appetite away and make you feel sluggish; glad you're
feeling better.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a sunny, cool, and breezy 68 with a high of 78 in New York. The humidity is @ 70% which will go down as the day progresses. Probably mess around outside with some minor things and fill up the wife's car with petrol later. Maybe some bench time thrown in for good measure.

Have an enjoyable day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning everyone.

Stanley weather: Sunny, with a high near 86.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
I'll look for your update.

Dave, glad you're feeling better.

Mike, glad the PT helped.

TomO, glad those tornados missed you.

Jim, enjoy your birthday month.
What day is your birthday.
Mine is coming up a little later this month.
Safe travels.

Karl, in spite of the flies sounds like you had a fun day.
Nice shot of the front of that loco.

Philip, lawn done?

James, glad you enjoyed the mild temps and the corn.

Jerry, hope you were able to work on those details.

Larry, nice job on the details.

Curt, what's new?

Greg, how's work going?

Dale, you out there?

Ron, you must be very busy at work.

Star and I hiked 10.62 miles and 2,523' of climbing to the lake at the base of Thompson Peak.
Thompson Peak is the highest mountain in the Sawtooth's and the trail continues to the peak.
But after getting to lake I wasn't feeling energetic enough to climb the peak so we turned around.
Took it easy rest of the day.
Leaving here and going back to Boise to resupply.

I could use your help and opinions on my latest video.
I tried a different format from what I've done in the past and would like to hear if you like the new or the old.

Another impressive post card image, Rick.  Nice and subtle colors.

Bright and sunny  8)  here by the beach in da yoop.  Cool, mid 50s at get up just cracking into the 60s as this goes to press.  One weather app calls for sun and another for a chance of rain.  Best forecast, out the window, is sun for at least the next bit.

The kit building didn't occur yesterday, we went off chasing a "Wild Hare" with proctological precision yesterday.  Headed off into the Central time zone in search of a place called the Laughing Loon in Iron River.  For some ungodly reason the iphone directions app sent us through some strange and unusual places, such as Felch, MI, known for...damned if I know :o .  Miles and miles of miles and miles, rough a$$ paved at least once in the 20th century I might guess. We did arrive and found the place.  The Doll was able to scratch that itch and found it to be 'rewarding' Setting the iphone aside I used a paper map and my prior experience to bring us home via wide vistas and a ~15 minute dip down into TomO's state of Wisconsin with another famous location Spread Eagle, similar reputation as Felch...it was there ;D

Back home it was a nice quiet evening as she researched some information on a group of photos she bought and I checked out some U-toob stuff. Sleep was welcomed as we wound down.

Today? Yep it's the 18th and the Eagle has dropped it's monthly pitance...maybe a new box of crackers and some jello.  :-\

Be well all, enjoy the day as will I.  1007 hrs, 620 still sunny.

KSat the swamp.

Jim, wave if you pass near Manistique on your cruise.

Good morning Mike, ACLTom, Dave, Larry, Rick, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom.

Mike, take it easy with the outside chores.

Karl, it sounds like the bar flies didn't ruin dinner.

Jim, happy birthday month, the cruise sounds very interesting, enjoy.

Dave, hope you get the desire to start working again on the machine shop.

Larry, take it easy with the outside chores.

Rick, you have to stop posting those short videos on the lakes, every time I watch one it think "I need to be there with my fishing gear".  ;D  I'll check out your video tonight.

Well it's currently 19c (66F) and sunny, it's a nice break from the heat wave we just had.  Been burning the midnight oil the past few nights, but the project is just about wrapped up so I can start doing normal things again.

Have a great day everyone.

Larry enjoy the day messing around.

Rick great video but I like the old way.

Ron I hope normal stays with you for a few days!!  ;D

Good week, client got a couple of the jobs we have done this week and last week. Looking forward to having a fun, quiet weekend, y'all have a good one too.....

The video with the calming sound track added was neat Rick. The scenery couldn't be more spectacular and I can't imagine how cold the water in that lake must be - burrrrrrrrrrr  :o

Morning all,

Breakfast this morning is ready. Today we have waffles topped with your choice of berries. I prefer strawberries and Cool Whip. You can just go with butter and Maple syrup is desired. Bacon on the side along with you choice of beverage.

I didn't sleep worth a dang last night. Flip and flop all night describes my night.

The Judge is coming over this morning to run trains. I'll be the switch man.

Rick the last video of the quiet stream was one of the best. As Greg said the mountain water sure looked cold but, refreshing. Thanks for posting it. I'm about 95% finished with the FOS garage. Update later this afternoon - hopefully!

Pam has a few errands she wants me to go with her on after the train time with Bill and all the BSing.  ;D

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Another cool morning in NH, but warming up rapidly, low of 53 up to 82, with some increase in humidity.  I slept pretty well last night with the windows open.

In a bit I'll go downstairs and maybe tackle more belt shifters.  Those are the most finicky parts of the build so far (I wonder how the belt installation will go, though...)

Good morning ACLTom, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, have fun running trains with Bill.

Dave, good luck with the belt shifters.

Currently 18C (64F) and cloudy.  Have a busy day ahead of me, first I'm off to an estate sale where there is a lot of model railroad stuff for sale, then I get to move some furniture around for the Mrs.  After that I get to take Gracie for a walk and cut the grass.  Hopefully later this afternoon I'll get to the bench and lay some track.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Boise weather:  Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 93. >:(

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and for the feedback on the video.
Have fun with the crew today and hope you sleep better tonight.

Dave, I'm sure you'll get those finicky parts attached properly.

Greg, thanks for watching the video and the feedback.

Jerry, any bench news?

Ron, why not retire and grab your fishing pole and head over here.  ;)  ;D

Karl, I've wondered how well having self driving cars will be if the GPS can't even get you where you want to go.

How's the rest of the crew doing.

It's way too hot here and can't wait to head back into the mountains.
Gym this morning and then I'll treat myself to lunch out at a brewery.

Rick, that's a funny photo with that "angry dog" face on Star....  "No, I don't want to look at you for the photo.  I'm enjoying the spectacular view.  Now quit bothering me!"

Morning everyone

Tom thanks for the coffee & breakfast have a nice day with the judge.

Morning Dave.  Good luck with the shifters.

Ron sounds like you have a busy day.  Hope you find some good buys at the estate sale.

Rick Star really is giving you the evil eye there.
Or she is really mad at you!  >:(

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/75.  Later on 84.
One of the grandsons is coming down with his girlfriend and going to the beach.
I hope the sun will make an appearance for them.
Not sure what's on the agenda today???

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good Morning,

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast; can't go wrong with fresh strawberries and cool whip.
Have fun in the Shed and with the errands; hopefully you don't run out of steam.

Rick hope you get cooled off in the mountains. Yup Star looks more than a little annoyed for sure.

Dave good morning.

Jerry I'm sure you'll figger out something for today.

What's everyone else doing.

It's a sunny 67 with a high of 85 with low humidity. This weekend is "Syracuse Nationals" at the NYS Fairgrounds. Usually about 2 thousand old cars & trucks show up; it's the biggest antique car show in the Northeast. I'll pass on the show waaaay too many people for my liking. Maybe some bench time and some time outdoors this afternoon.

Have a great day!!!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning,

Tom, thanks for the coffee and waffles.  I'll take the whipped cream and strawberries, thank you. Wishing you a fun day with the Judge.

Dave, good luck with the belts.  That's got to be tricky work.

Ron, sounds like a good Saturday. Enjoy the walk with Gracie.

Rick, what a shot of Star with that look with the fantastic background!

Jerry, hope you enjoy the time with your grandson.

Larry, sounds like a good day to work at the bench and enjoy your outdoors.

How are the rest of the folks?

It's cloudy today with a high forecast for 90F.  I don't think it will rain.

Yesterday, I continued with the finishing details on the stock car. I'll work on it again today.

Have fun,
mike
