Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ and soda.

Yesterday I was on my feet most of the day doing odds and ends. We did pickup a larger pen for the baby skunk (8 weeks old). She will go into the dining room after the 4 there go back to their owner this weekend.

Today I need to dig out Dad's suitcases for him. He leaves next Tuesday to visit family in OH for 3 weeks. While he's gone MOH and I are traveling to WV to do a couple of excursions on the Cass narrow guage RR. That will be in early August.

Not much else happening here other than I see a movie is being made about the life of the group Black Sabbath coming out next year. That will be awesome on IMAX.

Rick Happy Birthday if it is your birthday. If not never mind. ;D

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Wishing your Dad a great visit in OH.  The Cass railroad trip sounds like a lot of fun.

It is a sunny morning with a forecast for a warm 93°F.  Yesterday, I didn't work upstairs in the afternoon.  I hope to get up there this morning. I hope to make it to the paint store to get the three colors I need for the layout.  Lodge is on the agenda for tonight.

Have fun,
mike

Black Sabbath on iMax...  How big will the bat be?

It's another great day in SE NH.  It got down to 53 last night, heading to 78.  Sunny with low humidity.  The heat and humidity are back Thursday, so one more nice day to go.

I got exactly nothing done yesterday, lots of errands plus the handyman replaced the guts in the shower faucet.  I should make progress today, nothing scheduled.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Cascade weather: Sunny, with a high near 72.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Cass RR visit should be fun.

Dave, hope you make some progress today.

Mike, have fun at the lodge tonight.

Philip, the weather is either too much or too little rain.
Hopefully the weather will change for the better and the crops rebound.

Ron, ere you able to get more track work done?

Karl, I've found that I use the drone a lot less than I thought I would.
My video editing skills have a long way to go.

Jerry, did your room cool down.

ACLTom, honestly, I forgot about your book.  :-[

Larry, I had a neighbor that would put food out for the strays.
There were so many and they were using my garden as a litter box.
Then skunks started coming around.
I got a trap and relocated them all.

Greg, have another pleasant day.

Dale, you out there?

TomO, did you ever make a decision on the layout?

Thanks for the birthday wishes, but it's not till this weekend.
Don't know why the forum said it was yesterday.
My birthdate is correct on my profile.

Star and I did a good hike yesterday.
8.39 miles and 1,952' of EG.
One of the prettiest hikes we've done.
Epic views, lush green scenery and a great variety of wildflowers in every color along the whole trail.

Driving a little further north and east to get nearer to the next hikes.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Enjoy the Cass trip. The whistle on #6  is an ACL Pacific whistle. Just so you'd know how great the whistle sounds.  ;D

Rick great photo and I also at times forgot about the book. Haven't done any of it in 9 months. However, I've plenty of pages of notes.

Finally finished the FOS Garage build thread.

Today is our normal Tuesday, bowling practice, more errands and then lunch with friends later.

Have a great day and stay safe everyone.

Morning all, Thanks for the coffee Curt! Don't fall "into the void" ....lol

Rick's birthday is on the 27th.  ;) Not sure the age....

Trying to do a bit of modeling daily even if briefly.

Going out to look at this sorry garden now.

Have a great day crew!

Larry C

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope your Dad enjoys his trip. The Black
Sabbath movie sounds interesting; especially if they perform some of their songs.

Mike hope you make it upstairs and enjoy the lodge meeting.

Dave enjoy the coolness while you can.

Rick safe travels to your next destination. Hey you should celebrate your birthday the entire month!!
Gorgeous photo btw.

Tom hope you bowl well at practice and enjoy lunch. I'll have to check out your Garage thread next.

Philip hope your garden bounces back and enjoy your modeling time.

What's your plans today.

It's a sunny 64 with a high of 78 in New York; my kind of weather but the heat starts to build back in tomorrow. Haven't slept well the last 2 nights so this morning I guess I shut off the alarm and fell back to sleep for another hour. Not much going on here and maybe some bench time.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Tom, hope the bowling practice goes well.

Philip, have fun with the gardening.

Currently 16C (61F) and sunny here, shaping up to be another great day.  Ended up working later than expected last night so never made it downstairs, hopefully I'll have better luck tonight.

Good morning and really early birthday wishes to our traveling Van lifer!

70f degrees now maybe 90 later but lots of smelly smoke haze in the air. Terry is carrying her emergency inhaler every time she comes outside now!

I will be teaching the grandson this morning how to scenic the crack separations on the slot car track. I'm happy, it's not trains but it's a close second.

Rick, inaction is a reaction! Terry agrees the house we are in now is nice, a bit big and we should probably move. But to what? A condo is definitely out as I'd only go in one if it's in Madison near the lakes. Too far (10 miles) from the grandkids and grocery stores as downtown Madison is a grocery desert! I really would prefer being back out in the country as I don't need neighbors 100' away or closer next door. We still have plenty of land but do I really want to build another? The answer to that is absolutely but how big? The grandson now cuts the lawns here, I hired a snow removal service last Winter so do I really want to move out on 2, 5 or 10 acres to increase that work load and cost? So no I haven't made a decision on the layout because we can't decide on the next house.

I have approvals for the next subdivision and I am looking forward to working on that for the next few years. We are taking what we consider on slight chance building 4 spec homes in a high end area that are not luxury but great median priced homes. So right now our own next housing decision is in limbo.

Wow! 2 posts in a row but 7.75 hours apart.

Superman the movie was good. Maybe as good as when Christopher Reeves played Superman. Different style than the last non-Reeves movies but it still tells the same story. The non-main characters were a little over the top but it fits the style of this story telling.

Not a waste of time or money. But I'll take the Marvel Universe over this DC series

Dinner at 6 then off to see the granddaughter play softball
