Why?  Is someone seeing an actual impact from that chunk of code?

I got a phone call from a member who was afraid that it was revealing their personal information.
I looked into it afterwards and found that it wasn't true.

The funny thing is this code is supposed to be about blocking sites asking for your Google login information....    (I try to minimize my exposure to Google.  I have an account but haven't used it for at least a decade,)

Good morning everyone.

Ogden weather: Sunny, with a high near 97.  :o

Good morning Curt.
I'm sure Curt is getting breakfast ready for us.

Greg, have another great day today.

Mike, that tool looks like it can do some damage on foam.
Probably works as a cheese grater too.  ;D

Karl, how was the road trip?

Ron, glad you were able to get downstairs.

Jerry, did the grandkids show up?

ACLTom, congratulations on the prizes and I know they'll look great on the layout.

Dave, I'm glad your dog has fully recovered.

Larry, doing a will is a good thing to do.
I need to do it too.

Philip, it's hot here too.

Van has new oil in the pan and new brakes on the front.
There are two small parts I need for the RV area of the van, they don't affect my day day needs, that they didn't have in stock.
I'll call Storyteller and have them sent to a dealer in Idaho.
Costco this morning and then back to Idaho.
Unfortunately it won't be any cooler there.

Something different picture wise today.
There was a derailment yesterday at NJY at the Gladstone yard.
I don't have the details on how it happened yet.
I'll have to call one of my friends and see if they know.
Looks to me like both trains were moving at the same time and there was miscommunication on who had the right of way.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 76F and very humid. Yesterday I vacuumed the pool and the bottom is clean. The water is slightly hazy so I'll go to every other day filter cleanings instead of daily.

Today I need to do stucco patch in a couple of spots outside. Work is never done if you own a house. Now MOH wants to put up cabinets in the laundry room. :-* .

Oh, I ordered a very simple boiler house kit from Keep it Rusty last night. I want to build an easy one of his to see if I want to get a more expensive one.

Rick thankfully it was at slow speed and no one was hurt?

I've blathered enough.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Rick, congrats on the RV appointment.  Hope nobody was hurt in the collision.

Curt, stay cool with all those 1:1 activities.  Good luck with the boiler house.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another bright morning, but a cooler forecast for 92F.  Today will be consumed with 1:1 stuff, PT, washing wife's car, lodge, etc.  If the glue is dry on the road, perhaps I can start plaster cloth and Sculptamold tomorrow.

Have fun,
mie

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Hope the stucco and cabinet install go fairly easily for you. I agree, owning a house is nice but it comes with constant updates and minor repairs. Even Rick's four wheel house needs minor repairs over time

Rick, I'm assuming the accident didn't have any serious injuries to the passengers..

I finally had a full day at the bench. It was wonderful getting back in the model building scene.

Today Pam wants to go practice bowling and after that we will meet friends for lunch. I'll get back to the work bench late this afternoon.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Morning! Coffee is great today. Had about a 1/4" of rain yesterday. Not much relief but the overcasting is some.

Terrible accident Rick. Figured it was digital right of way....

Was messing with the TCS decoder and missed a button and pressed 5,6 and it has an option to play some lady singing acapella. Three songs, Amazing Grace, America the Beautiful and another one.

It was

in audio assist. I must add I prefer set up using CV's. I also suspect the nuclear codes are in TCS decoders.

Have a great Tuesday.

Good Morning,

Rick sounds like the Van is in "Ship shape" once again. For whatever reason our Daughter was very concerned we didn't have a Will done yet but that was defiantly on my "to do list". Told her last night so she's a happy camper now; it only took about 35 minutes from start to finish.

Curt thanks for coffee and breakfast this am. Yup if you own a home there's always something to do. Hope you enjoy the new kit; of course now the one for Brett will probably show up as well.

Mike don't overdue on the 1:1 stuff in the heat. Looking forward to seeing you getting plastered.Lol.

Tom nice you were able to get in some serious bench time yesterday; that's always a good thing.

Philip I've never heard a loco sing before; must have been a big surprise.

What's your plan for the day.

It's a cloudy and very muggy 68 with a high of 77 in New York. Right now we're @ 90% humidity....yuk. I ordered 4 On18 cars from Carrol Creek which was supposed to ship today but their inventory was off so he printed the 2 missing cars overnight so they'll be shipped tomorrow. He apologized but I told him it was fine. Grocery &Rx at Wegmans shortly then hopefully some time at the bench later.

Have a great day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Clearly that train was going in the wrong direction. Look at the arrows on the rail ;)

Rick

I should of mentioned it in my post, but because this happened in the yard no passengers were onboard.
No injuries to the crews on the train.

Well, that's great news. We've had enough tragedies of late.

More Florida weather today, it's what those folks down there would call 'cooler', high of 88 down from low 90s.  But still very humid.  The humidity should drop a bit, with a mild cold front moving in.  Tomorrow they're predicting a high of 77 and 75 on Thursday.  Floridians would probably call that "chilly".

I bought some tubing at Tractor Supply to replace the leaking dehumidifier drain line.  It's very stiff, I'm not sure if I can get it to lay down against the wall.  The manufacturer suggested a different product that I'll try to find.  It's cheaper...

Otherwise, a Dr appt this morning and then back to the train room.  I may install the main drive shaft this afternoon.  I found some steel .032 wire, nothing looks more like steel shafts than steel...    ;D

Probably some unplanned vacation for someone at the rail yard.  :-\

Had a nice day yesterday, the daughter drove us up to Grand Marias on Lake Superior where with the "breeze" from NNW right off the lake it was in the upper 50s  :o She and the Doll went down to the waters edge and picked rocks, laughed and joked while I sat on the observation deck under a blanket and people watched  :o. Was treated to a low pass by a Grumman Widgeon amphibious plane
IMG_2238.jpeg

A check of Flight Aware showed it belongs to a fellow from Toledo, Ohio and is a 1944 model. Later he landed at the small strip up the hill behind the village.

After the gals got chilled out they hit a couple gift shops and I picked up the tab for late lunch at the Grand Marias Tavern, not nearly as good as when we went there in preseason early May. Long wait for food and lukewarm fries  :-\. It Was nice to spend the day with the girl, she headed home this morning. The Doll cried, I was still probed out.

Fresh air here back at base camp this morning 620 under bright overcast. Forecast gives some chance of brief rain sometime later.

Trip to town in the offing, load of residual debris from the weekend.

Enjoy the day all.

Good morning Rick, Curt, Mike, ACLTom, Philip, Larry, Dave, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, owning a home means that there iss always something that needs to be done.

Rick, sounds like you had a productive day yesterday.

Mike, Mike, hope the 1:! stuff goes well.

Tom, spending the day in the train shed means things are getting back to normal, enjoy bowling and lunch with Pam.

Philip, enjoy your day.

Dave, hope the main drive shaft installation goes well.

Karl, sounds like you had a great day yesterday.

It's currently 20C (68F) and overcast here with more rain in the forecast.  Managed to get the triple curved turnout in the staging yard installed last night and partially spiked down.   NOte sure what tonight will bring as the Mrs apparently has plans.
