Good morning, all. It's overcast on the NH seacoast with smoke from Canadian fires visible but not so thick I can smell it. Rain expected tonight and tomorrow. My wife just returned with an upgraded driver's license, so I'll leave the kitchen and counter to later arrivals.

Morning (actually afternoon here) all,

Just finished walking 7 miles all around Amsterdam.  Interesting place. Gotta take a break now. We'll head out later for some food and a little shopping.

Have a great one!

8) Nice sunny morning here today. A bit of early fog, ~80%  ::) humidity so it's hazy. Less smoke but still some around.

Little to add this morning.

I need to remember to hit POST  ;)

Bob, a canal boat trip is a fun way to spend a couple hours seeing the city.  But yeah, Amsterdam is the most walkable city of any I've visited (and that's a pretty long list...)

I'm back from German, and will leave for a pair of concerts in Boston in a couple hours.  (It's the week of the Boston Early Music Festival, www.bemf.org )

So another quick check of the intertubes, and then a couple errands/to-dos before we head south.

We did take a canal boat tour, Dave. You're right. It is a great way to see the city. My total, for today, ended up being 11 miles walking. Given 11 miles total would be a good week for me at home I'm surprised I survived.

We're having a blast, Jerry and haven't gotten on the river boat yet. That adventure starts tomorrow.
