Too late for breakfast.  :(

Moderate temp in bright sunlight  8) on the W side of the mitten state.

Woke up sore this am. Loosening up some with heat and decided on a short road trip after over doing it yesterday. I airbrushed 25-30 feet of rail on my new addition the split the mowing yesterday.

Probably will "have to " stop at the rail estate sale shop while out this far. I've spent much less there in the last year than days past. Doubt much today, either.

Enjoy all. Be lucky!

Good morning, Karl and those who stop by later. I got some preservation work done this morning, now taking another look at the Forum.

Afternoon all,

Pam took me to breakfast this morning.  I've spent most of the day working on the FOS garage and cleaning up my desk.

Hope all are having a fine uneventful day.

Good afternoon.  We turned on the a/c for the first time the other day.  It wasn't keeping up, so fortunately I have a friend with a stash of R-22 freon.  The house is cooling nicely.

I was wasting some time looking at back issues of Mainline Modeler this morning.  I have a full set on a CD.  I was looking for boxcar plans, but became distracted with some other articles.  That was a magazine for builders, no fluff.

My family's hay baling went well today, the easterly breeze didn't dampen what dried yesterday and it's all stacked in the barn.

Congrats on getting the haying done, James.

Today, I did a bit more layout design on the machine shop, then tackled a 1/1 scale project.  I need to cut trim strips around 2 skylights to hold the blinds.  Of course, the first stop was the lumber yard.  Tomorrow I'll roll out the tablesaw and cut and shape (one needs a notch) the rest of the strips to fit the blinds into the window opening.
