Jeff,

The Rembrandt chalks use clay as a binder hence the use of mineral spirits

Jeff, Curt, Rick, Ron & Philip.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!  Believe me it's greatly appreciated knowing you all took the time to post.

Hell Ron I never knew that was why you could use it thanks for telling us.

And Rick there will always be a Schintzler Pond my friend.

I guess I should draw up a plan on the buildings that are going to be on this diorama.

Once again thank you all.

Howdy Jerry,

I thought Schnitzler's Pond had dried up!  ;)

Nice job with the chalks and mineral spirits.  The wall color looks realistic.  I love all the fire stops.

Glad to see you back on this fun project.  I'm looking forward to the build.

Have fun,
mike
My current builds are a Post Office. and miscellaneous rolling stock

Just so you know I was really working on framing that second wall.

So now it will be doing the outside sheathing and I'm not sure if I want to tarpaper the inside.
And to make a jig for making the windows.

Jerry, as usual, your framing is excellent.

Jerry,

Framing is perfect and looks like a 1:1 frame job shrunk to HO scale. Expertly done.

"Honey, I shrunk the framing!"
