Philip, I'm impressed.
That looks pretty good.

Mike, It's called greenstuff. Link below. thanks!

Larry, Funny 8) The watermelons are made from the excess.

The 2 part epoxy is made by Kneadatite. No smell and it can be vulcanized for casting miniatures.

I'm still learning Rick. Thanks!

Thanks for looking in Kyle!

I'm still refining the figure, some of the proportions were off and the mount broke twice. I added some feet to the legs. The feet are simply a tiny flat piece of brass with a hole drilled through the heel soldered to the leg armature. Then shaped. No mans land territory but may work to add some boot details.

Messing around with another program called Freecad. Totally free. Here is an example of a simple drawing that took two days to finally sort of complete. Hunkering down...yes.

My current build is the Layout scenery and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Have you printed a Freecad drawing?  The program does seem as capable as any. I poked around with it a time or two. Had been a fusion360 user but it's constantly getting "better" and I couldn't keep up. The same with their tutorials.  >:(

Philip, nice job on what looks like an intricate drawing.

Jerry

Nice drawing Philip.

Nice drawing; if it prints as good as the drawing looks you might have a winner.

I'm practicing Mike when I can.

I haven't tried printing anything yet Karl. You have me worried now. So Fusion was free and I attempted to reload it because it was malfunctioning. So Fusion is now a 30 day trial as was Placticity. No more free usage after the trial. What gets me is they really think proficiency may be reached in 30 days. What a slap in the face as it took me several days to just draw a simple circle and learn all the tools. So they expect you to pay hundreds of dollars for someone who is a casual modeler. Sketch-up is now the same and it was difficult for a novice.

Thanks Larry, Jerry, and Rick!

I just took a simple freecad drawing and exported it as an STL for Chitubox slicer and it worked fine and the file oriented flat on the build plate with the verified green contact.
