So that aircraft is the predecessor of the P-3 Orion?   Pete Magoun should definitely like this.

I'm done on the exercise machine.  After I cool down, I'll start on the belts from the tool shafts to the main drive shaft.

Mornin,' All!

75, feels like 75, headed for 85, air quality is the pits (Canadian smoke) and humidity is 60% here in the northern mitten this morning.  Good day to stay inside with the air filters ON....

Nice video find, Karl!  that was one of the WWII predecessors of my beloved P-3 Orion, which didn't enter the fleet until 1960 or so, and in which we were camped on top of Ivan's submarines all over the world in the 1970s and later.  And he knew it....  The P-3 in the USN is now long gone and replaced by the P-8 Poseidon.  Time flies....

Spent the weekend downstate at the Huckleberry Railroad's Railfan Weekend with my HOn30 modular group showcasing the Maine Two-footers.  Good time, we put on what I think was a good show, and unfortunately, I'll have to miss the NNGC in Collinsville this year.  Sigh....

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Afternoon all,

I'm going to count my trip to Home Depot this morning, where I loaded 10 bags of mulch and 2 bags manure into the car, drove home, unloaded them, and then carried them around to the back of my house as my exercise for the day.  ::)

Yesterday I spent time papering/weathering all but one of the roof cards on the current build. I need to get off my lazy butt and update my build thread on that one.  Summer trips have interrupted what little flow I had going. Sorry about that.

Have a great one!

Good evening, all.  There was high smoke over the NH and ME coasts this morning, but the Trolley Museum was blessed by a sea breeze and we didn't get too hot. Our most recent switch re-timbering project is complete, though if we had time and resources there are maybe eight more timbers that aren't really playing in the band.  Now I'm working on my report.  Maybe modeling later in the week.
