Good evening folks,

I wish you the very best in the coming year.  No sore joints, no dried paints, no India ink spills on the carpet...you get the point.  All the best.

I'll set the bar up for those of you staying up late.  As for me:

Happy New Year,

Snow and cold continue in Michigan, speaking of Meeshigun they just got themselves gored by dem Longhorns from Texicus!  ;D (Sparty is tickled) ;D

Skipped the bench, so far, awaiting steak I bought for dinner then prep the blackeyes for tomorrow.  Two trips to the store today took all the desire out of New Years partying...no fun being out in this stuff.

I've America Fries to prepare for dinner.  Later all.

Happy New Year!

Good Morning All,

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda. Time to get back to a regular diet (at least for me).

Sitting here drinking coffee as the sun peaks over the houses. Last night we celebrated by being in bed just after 2030. OK, that's my normal bed time. I did my missing walk midday yesterday which was pretty comfortable bundled up. It's in the 30's again this morning, Brrrrr. It's supposed to start warming up tomorrow.

Yesterday I attached the details that were patiently waiting. I have a open coke bin to put in so I did some research and was surprised to discover that coke is grayish black and not black like coal. It reminds me of pumice. I didn't know. Now I have to figure out how to produce that realistically.

Well that's enough blathering for now.

By the way this is the first post of the year.

I hope everyone has a good day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Have fun with the kit.

Tom nice pic.

What's on your agenda?

It's 14 with a high of 18 in New York this first day of January. Taking a rest day today I need to let my body recoup from the last 2 days of playing in the snow multiple times each. Some bench time and maybe some time at the lappy. Also need to sort through the "Old Farts" stuff and get rid of the 2025 items.

Have a great day!!! May your year be filled with joy and good health!

Happy New Year!  No recovery necessary here, we went to bed at the usual time.  There were some fireworks last night, but not close/loud enough to bother the dogs.  So That's A Good Thing.

I need to dig hout the HOn30 trucks and couplers to make more progress on that car kit.  But I might just spend the day in household honey-do items.

Good morning everyone,

Happy New Year Everyone

Had an easy day and quiet yesterday and I expect the same for today, expect the same for today.  Current temperature is -19c (-2f) and overcast.  Had another dusting of the white stuff last night.  I did rip up some tiles yesterday to repair some concrete work in the modeling room.  Today's plan is to reinstall the tiles not that the concrete has set.

Wishing everyone happiness, joy and good health in the new year.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
I'm sure you'll come up with a good color for the pumice.

ACLTom, Happy New Year to Pam and you.

Larry, enjoy your rest day.

Ron, hope the floor repair goes well.

Dave, hope you find your trucks and couplers.

Karl, how was the steak and fries?

Mike, those are all good New Year wishes.

Jerry, you out there?

How's everyone else.

Because of the fireworks I was up a midnight with Star who doesn't do well with the noise.
Laundry today.
Tomorrow I'm going to start heading east back to Jersey to send the things I left with friends there to Arizona.

Have a great day everyone.

Brightly overcast and frigid outside, high to sneak up to 200 teh weather weasel said.  Calm and a slightly warmer trend the next few days.

I do have snow to attend to sometime later.

We chilled last night at home ended up watching an old western with Cary Grant and Burl Ives. The BIG Country It was ok, been quite awhile since we'd seen it.  Popped a cork around midnight and went to bed shortly there after.

The steak and fries were great. Today I'll do the black eyed peas then need to ease back, Too much rich food lately, time to recover.  :-X

Rick, the trip East sounds like you may be relocating your base of operations, AZ is an interesting one. We have one kid out there "kid"~50 going on 17...searching for easy money, hard to tell, so full of bs no one can figure out what's real or fantasy.

Be well all.  Best to all for the New Year!

Happy New Year from the Boss and myself.

Woke up to 32 degree weather, not bad for upstate NY but we live in Central Florida so Ouch! It's great to see all the good wishes and photos for today, I will add mine, Happy New Year! I will be cleaning up the house some as our daughter in law and her son are going to visit for a couple of days. He is in a national soccer contest representing Ohio so very cool. The games are in Orlando, about an hour drive.

We will be announcing the winter challenge hopefully by next week so don't think it has been forgotten. Getting your build idea ready to go for the contest! Prizes as last year

Till later, have a great first day of 2026.
