Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, cake donuts, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 74F with high humidity but there was a nice breeze. Yesterday I finished the 1:1 wall project ;D  and finished the 3rd wall in the kit. Today after chores I'll finish the fourth wall. It only takes about 2 hours but by the end my neck and upper back are aching. After that I'll probably read ahead in the directions.

Ron any more updates on the trestle?

Larry are you going to write any more chapters?

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

54 currently in Vancouver, WA with a high of 65 and rain starting around 3.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Good news on the wall projects.

On the phone again today so I'll be brief again.

Since the rain won't start till later I'll drive to the trail and do a hike with Star.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and the bagel.  Good luck with the 4th wall.

Rick, wishing you an enjoyable hike with Star.

Nothing planned for the day.  I hope to finish the crown molding on the front of the lodge, print some signs, and call it a wrap for now.

Have fun,
mike

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Its always good to get a home project finished.

Rick, enjoy the hike with Star.

I'm  almost finished with the first 14 chapters of the book. I've been reviewing what I've written and made a few changes. I should be starting Chapter 15 this afternoon.

Pam and I have bowling at noon. After bowling, we'll stop by Lexus and get seat covers for her car. I've noticed that some blue from my jeans are leaving a light stain on the seat.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Have fun assembling the fourth wall.
Yes, I'll be writing more chapters when I can get to it.

Rick have an enjoyable and safe hike w/ Star.

Mike you're making great progress on the Lodge.

Tom enjoy your writing and maybe a 300 in bowling?

What's the rest of you up to.

It's a sunny 49 with a high of 76 in New York. The cool nights and warm days are really getting the leaves a changing. Some nice colors this year BUT that means the leaf mulching has begun. Maybe some bench time shortly.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning from my part of Wisconsin. Still very unseasonable temperatures that should reach 85+ today. I will take it.

A couple things today. Back in February I was upgrading 4' of track and that cut off one of my staging yards. Today I will finish it, I promise! Then clean the mainline and that should take an hour. I use Isopropyl Alcohol on a fiber cloth and come back to add a smidge of graphite about every 12' or so. Not the cleaning method Joe Fugate recommends in the MRH Forums but it has worked for me the last 10 years. I won't have to clean track now for 6 months to a year depending how much I run trains.

Enjoy the day

Morning everyone

Mike I guess your do for an update soon to.

Tom hope you and Pam have some great scores today.

Larry it's the only bad thing about trees they shed!!!  ;D

Morning Dave.

Philip looking forward for something new.

Karl great picture thanks for sharing.

Tom glad you're ready to run trains.

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/65.  Later P. sunny/75.
Where the hell is Fall??
I've study the plans and getting material for the next build.
The machinery I have so I may start that this week sometime.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Good Morning Curt, Rick, Mike, ACLTom, Larry, Dave, Philip, Karl, TomO, Jerry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.  No update on the trestle as I attended our On30 groups set-up this past weekend.  Got to run trains and worked on my modules.

Rick, enjoy your hike with Star today.

Mike, have fun working on the lodge.

ACLTom, hope you and Pam bowl great today.

Larry, Leaf cleaning is always a pain, especially when you get the neighbours leaves too.

Dave, Philip, enjoy your day today.

Karl, beautiful photo of the Northern Lights

TomO, have fun working on the railroad.

Well is currently 16c (61f) and clear skies.  It's supposed to be nice all week with no rain in the forecast.  No modeling per say yesterday as I work on some prototypes for joiner tracks for our module set-ups.  THey are of a split-rail design so that they are adjustable.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, english muffins, yogurt, OJ and soda.

Poor sleep last night. :-\ Had some very strange dreams. Yesterday I finished the pattern house fourth wall. Today I plan on cutting the walls off the chip board carrier and trim excess wood strips. First though I have floors to do. After that if I have any energy I'll head to the train room.

I was thinking Yesterday that I've been lucky finding this site and previously RR-line, with making new friends in real life and online along with the absolute top-notch modeling and willingness to share techniques with civility. It really does mean a lot to me. Just my thoughts for the day.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Try to save some of that energy
for the train room. It sucks when you don't sleep well; hopefully better tonight. I'm right there
with you about the RR-Line was well as this site; here they were more than willing to accept us
refugees and even made new categories for us to use.

What's the rest of you up to.

It's a very clear and crisp 39 with a high of 67 expected in New York. Managed to grind up some leaves yesterday afternoon which will continue until either the white crap falls or I get sick of it. Had a good day at the bench yesterday and maybe some more time today. I ordered 4 detail items Saturday from Brett and they shipped yesterday which was a complete surprise; these will help finish off my current build.

Have a great day!!! Be well and be safe.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

My weather: Rain

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Sorry you didn't sleep well.
Maybe a nap after doing the floors and then you'll be energized to work on the kit.
Totally agree about the two forums you mentioned.

Larry, glad you had a good day at the bench yesterday.

Ron, hope you get to enjoy that nice weather.

Jerry, so what's the plan?

TomO, glad you're keeping the layout and is the track done?

Karl, that's a really nice photo.

Philip, stop itching and start building.  ;)  ;D

Dave, is your dog doing better?

ACLTom, hope Pam and you bowled well.

Mike, now that the lodge is done any idea on what's next?

How's everyone else doing?

Ended up being a beautiful morning yesterday.
Star and I were able to do our hike and did 7.41 miles and 1,407 of EG on the Cape Horn Loop Trail.
Today the plan is to cross the Bridge of the Gods into Oregon.
The town on the other side of the bridge is Cascade Locks.
I went there earlier this year with some friends and had a delicious burger and shake there.
I'll go back there and get another burger and shake.

This was sunrise at Reflection Lake.

Have a great day everyone.

ACL1504

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. I agree, here and the RR Lines Forum is and was a great place for modeling ideas and great friends to share techniques.

Rick, great picture of Reflection Lake and the sun on the mountain top.

My team bowled well but we still lost all 8 points. The other team members bowled way over their averages. As they say, "Snit Happens".

I've spent quite a bit of time on my book the past several days and made some great progress. I'll continue with the book today and part of tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon I'll clean the train shed.

Have a great day everyone and stay safe.
