Good morning Curt, Dave, ACLTom, Rick and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, glad you got the instructions figured out.  Looking forward to the update.

Dave, have fun at the market.

ACLTom, glad you are feeling better, hope Pam starts feeling better soon.

Rick, have fun with the grandkids.

Weather here is different here, it's still cold with the present temperature being -1c (30f) but the sun is shining. :D   Yesterday didn't go as planned as I ended up working late.  The good new is that I have the rest of the weekend off.  ;D   I have a couple of chores to do but nothing major.

Have a great day everyone.

8) Sun and cold, frosty all over this morning, upper 20s it says down in the corner.

I got the Deere running yesterday, there was a fuse blown.  I took the scoop off and moved it into the barn for further investigation of the mower deck.  All well. Not sure of other plans, the Doll is in a pre-holiday frazzle.

I ran a couple things on the 3d printer and did some studying of hobby related things. We watched the last episode of the Ken Burns story of the Revolutionary war on PBS last night.  Sure was a brutal experience that was much more extensive than I ever was taught in school.

I see that TomO's Badgers Icers hand the SPARTANS their first "L" of the season yesterday.  Congrats on that.  Our football team is so bad, going to Iowa, they're not mentioned in this morning's Lansing media sites.  They are going to Iowa sometime today.  No plans to watch.  Hoops has been doing well, tho.  It could be a good year for them.  Did I mention they're playing in Iowa? Mind's going around the bend I think.

That's about it for now.  Be well all.  Enjoy the day.

Nov. 22.  I remember it like yesterday from 1963

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and the bagel.  Congrats on sorting the front well.

Dave, my thoughts were Canopy glue or any glue that is clear.

TomACL, welcome back.  Sending well wishes to you and Pam.

Rick, wishing you a fantastic time with the grandkids.  Perfect timing.

Terry, how are ya?

Jerry, hope you make it to the bench with no pressure for 1:1 torture.

Ron, good luck with the training and with the box cars.

How is the rest of the crew?

IT's a rainy morning, yay.  Temps are mild at 70°F, headed to 80°F.

NBW hades has been at my house.  I think I lost the touch for installing them. I set up the drill press, so drilling holes is going well.

Today marks 57 years since Sharon and I were hitched. She bought me a train set for Christmas the following year, and the stage was set for years of modeling fun.

Football at noon, then back to the NBWs.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Oil Derrick and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Mike...I'm doing just fine. I'm thinking about putting together an order of Labelle kits as Rick has announced he's "closing up shop"...I really like his wood rolling stock kits.
I'm finishing up a scratch built model of the Story Inn. A B&B near Nashville, Ind. I have an article about the build coming out in next months issue of the S&S Gazette.

Good Afternoon,

Busy day today so I'm late getting here.

Mike HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, wow 57 years. You have us beat by 4 years.

Tom glad you're feeling better and hope Pam will be soon.

It's almost 50 outside and spent a little time fussing with the outdoor Christmas lights I put up a week or so ago on the front of the house; figured while it was warm out. The "honey do" list is growing so doubt I'll see much of the bench until after Thanksgiving; oh well.

Have a great rest of your day!!! Hope everyone's on the mend and get better before Turkey Day.

Good Morning All,

If you want breakfast today you are on your own! I had 2 slices of pizza last night for supper and my stomach feels overfull 13 hours later!

Tossed and turned most the night. Yesterday I spent 3 hours on the front wall, but it's finally ready to be glued together with the rest of the main office walls.

Today after chores I hope to glue the walls together (all wood/cardboard) and put in the roof rafters. Also, I hope to do an update.

Tom I hope Pam is doing better today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for the breakfast offer Curt, I don't have anything either.

Pam is doing better but I'm still monitoring her cough. She didn't cough at all last night but is still congested this morning. The Babe is slowly recovering.

I'll be doing more work on the BTS barn and then get my mind on the next project.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Tom

Good morning Curt, ACLTom and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

For breakfast this morning we have an omelet stations, will all the fixings to add to your omelet, bacon, ham, sausage patties and hash browns, help yourself and enjoy.

Curt, hope you feel better soon and I'm looking forward to your update.

Tom, glad to hear Pam is on the mend.

current temperature is -2c (28c) and overcast.  The one day of sunshine is done.  Worked a bit on installing the braking system on the 4 boxcars, it's going slow but for me it's the most tedious part of the build.  Hope to continue working on it today.

Have a great day everyone.
