Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda. I'm just having coffee.

Started out the day with a walk at a feel like temp of 42F. Yesterday was nice at daughter's house. I limited what I ate but it was still too much. I did get the chance to do some modeling on the Foundry roof and promptly glued the sub-roof on backwards. :-[ Of course this was after test fitting it correctly. ::)

Today after chores I'll head to the workbench. No shopping for me.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Curt and others drifting in,

Thanks for breakfast Butty. I'll just have some OJ.

Pam and I had a quiet day just by ourselves. Turkey and all that goes with it. We'll have left overs this evening and then I'm done with turkey until Christmas.

I finished the barn build and will get the update posted later this afternoon.

Have a great day everyone.

Tom

Morning Gents,

Curt I'll grab a coffee; I'm still full from yesterday. Enjoy your time at the bench.

Tom nothing wrong with having a quiet Thanksgiving. Looking forward to your update.

What's going on in your world.

It's 30 with a high of 34 in New York. As I type this the white crap is coming down "lickity split"; we're in the 8-12 inch range through 7am Saturday. Staying home today; no shopping for me either. Planning on some bench time and a day of relaxation after the busy week prior to T-day. Daughter came over yesterday and had a nice pork roast with all the trimmings; ate waaaay too much. Now I suppose the "Silly Season" starts; to quote Jerry.

Have a great day!!! Be well and careful on the roads.

Good morning everyone.

47 now and sunny and 72 later in AZ.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and I'm still undecided if I'll have any breakfast.
Hope the roof is an easy fix.

ACLTom, glad Pam and you had a nice Thanksgiving.

Jim, hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with family.

Ron, how are the boxcars coming along?

Jerry, hope you had a great time in Wayne.

Mike, I'm sure you helped prepare a wonderful meal yesterday.

Dave, I would much rather do the cooking and let someone else clean.

Terry, hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.

Larry, hope they were wrong about your wintery forecast.

I hope everyone else enjoyed the holiday yesterday.

Ate far too much yesterday but couldn't help it because it was all so good.
There will be leftovers today.
Also some online shopping for the kids xmas.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Good luck with the foundry.

TomACL, congrats on the barn completion.  I'm looking forward to the photos.

Larry, sounds like a wonderful T-day. It's nice to be with family.

Rick, wishing you another fantastic day with family.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright and cold morning at 31°F, warming to 50°F this afternoon.  We'll have hard freezes at night for a few days.

Although I do most of the regular cooking, Sharon hasn't lost her touch preparing the T-day meal.  It was just the two of us, and she fixed all my favorites.

Today is a trip to the theater to buy gift cards for our Daughter.  She is returning from a ten-day trip to Norway and isn't able to get them.  I'll pick up our SIL and her from the airport this evening.  While out, I plan to stop by Costco to have a hearing aid repaired. It's going to be a busy day.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Oil Derrick and miscellaneous rolling stock .

I emptied the dishwasher this morning, that's my contribution to 'cleaning after the meal'  ;)  The kitchen is almost back to normal.

More progress on the machine shop, today's focus will be roof and trim.

Dave, have fun working on the machine build.

Woke up to a light dusting of the white stuff this morning.  Have a little running around to do this morning and then I will be packing up the car for a train setup this weekend.

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Hope you got the roof fixed?

Tom sounds like you and Pam had a nice day together,

Larry seems like a lot of "WHITE STUFF".  Stay in and off the roads.

Rick that's your suppose to day eat too much and then go shopping the day after!!  ;D

Mike don't overdo the running around.

Morning Dave.

Ron sounds like you have a nice weekend planned.

Well like Larry said it's official the "SILLY SEASON" has started.  So all you elves be careful out there!!
We had a great time with the family yesterday.
And believe or not Rick the traffic wasn't bad at all!!
But we did get home a lot later than expected.
Not sure what today will bring but I believe we are staying in today.

'Mornin' after the turkey here in MI, we did have a glimpse of the sun for a short time early but it's overcast.  The temp is shown to be 280 in the lower RH corner.  Felt like it when I was out for close to 0.10 minutes earlier.  :o

We had a good meal at the daughter's yesterday, a bit more spice injected into the turkey than I really like but it was all good.  I had the drumstick all to myself.  Pumpkin pie was a great top off to too much to eat.

LIONS lost, the game and a couple more key players. We couldn't get a station that carried the SPARTIES who seemed to have won in great fashion.  MAYbe a good hoops year.

I'm finishing up the last group of parts for a farm wagon I've made with the 3d machine.  The UV box just beeped off.  8)

NOt sure what my 'puter is up to, maybe the mouse is low power?  As I've selected one of the goofy face icons lately and clicked on it I get 2 of them showing up on the screen.  It's like the mouse is double bumping some how.  :-\

We're under a snow WINTER WEATHER WATCH with chances of it becoming a WARNING by tomorrow, snow at the rate of an inch an hour forecast to pass this way starting late tomorrow.

Be well all, travel safe.

Good evening, all. The lower Merrimack valley got less than an inch of snow just before sunset, but it won't last as the ground is far from frozen. The new road salt contractor had two trucks out (5 miles of Town road, pop. 930) so we'd know he means business.

We didn't go out today, but even so I didn't get much done till late afternoon. Now my layout is cleaner and I'm updating my NMRA Achievement Program notes while digesting leftovers. Back upstairs in a bit.

Interesting!  We got the squall, but not enough to stick.  At the end of that squall, there were big blowing flakes, and the sun was out.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, pastry, OJ and soda.

It feels like 48F here currently and up to low 70's later. Yesterday I worked on the foundry roof. I thought putting in the angled wood slats in the 2 vents was going to be a bear, but they went in smooth as silk. They were very well engineered by Brett.

Today after animal chores I'll continue on the roof flashing. Not much else planned today.

Rich I hope your leg is doing better.

Tom I hope Pam continues to feel good.

Dave it used to rain like that in El Paso growing up.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt, I'll just have OJ this morning.

I cancelled Bill this morning as I came down with a sore throat yesterday morning. It isn't as sore as it was yesterday but I'm still taking it easy. I don't want to pass on what ever I have or don't have.

Have a healthy day everyone.

I brought the donuts! There might be a few pumpkin flavored ones still available.

A slight frosting on the ground of the white stuff. It ain't powered sugar from the donuts!

My son's RV had an airbag line get snagged somehow. Donut will be a cold day in a parking lot for us today.....always something with that thing.

Stay warm and dry my friends.

Slow day here yesterday.
Only thing I did besides playing with the kids was to double check the air pressure on my tires.
Glad I did because the passenger side rear was 5 lbs. low.
Got a short 2 mile hike with the kids planned for today.

Fall at Yosemite NP.
