Curt,

Your stone walls look good, like the rest have said.
Maybe I should have kept my kit. The stone walls on my scratchbuild have much smaller stones
to color, making it more difficult to complete. I have yet to color them, but am going to do that this evening.
I'm not going to use powders & alcohol like the kit suggests. If mine turn out looking half as good as yours,
I'll tell you what I did. Time will tell. Keep up your good work.

Good Afternoon,

Thank you Mark, Larry, Dave B., Philip, Terry, Ron, Rich, and Rick for following along and your very kind comments.

I have been working on the last separate structure in the build, the Main Office. For its small size it took a lot of time to get it to it's current state. Although not shown I have shingled the roof which I will paint tomorrow. Of note the front has a recessed entrance.

This is the back side of the front wall.

Next up are the 3 walls. The back wall is just cardboard so no photo.

Really tidy workmanship, Curt.

What a little sweety!  I really like the deep inset of the door.

Cheers, Mark.

Howdy Curt, nice work on Morton's office.  ~mike
My current build is the Oil Derrick and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Hi Curt,

You have come a long way with your expert construction.
I like the way you distressed and colored the wood on this building.
Since you first posted any of your thread, I've been trying
to read that sign on the far back wall past your structures.
What does it say?

Rich thanks for the question. Years ago I found a online Foundry that made Pennsy whistle and bell signs. When I recieved the package the sign was included as a freebee. It's a little heavy and works well when placed on small wet parts. I then place weight on the sign. I painted the signs.

Afternoon All,

Thank you Mark, Mike, Rich, Larry, and Jerry for following along and your kind comments.

Since the last update I have been working on the Foundry roof, roof structures, and the work office roof. Both roofs are standing seam and heavily weathered. The first photo shows the roof with the vent supports glued in place.

Next up is with slats and exhaust stack attached attached. The slats slid into place easily.

Here the additional roofs have been placed.

This is a mock up of the Foundry, work room, and main office. The blank space on the foundry wall will have a brick chimney.
