Here's the finished kit. I added some leftover pigeons and a garbage can from the Frank Lava Gunsmith build I did prior to this one.

All in all, a fun kit and an interesting structure for the wrong side of the tracks.

Thanks for following along!

Very nice work, Bob.  The roof looks like it would be a pain to get al the dormers lined up and then do the roofing material.

Outstanding build Bob. Are you keeping it or is it going to Tom?

Thank you, Jeff! Yes, the roof was the most challenging part of this one. But it's an interesting configuration that adds a lot of character to the structure.

I'm not sure I'd want to rent an apartment above a pool hall. Seems like it might be a bit noisy.  ;D

Thanks, Curt! This one is for me but Tom's welcome to it if can find a home on the A&S. I wanted to build it so I can play around with where I might be able to use it once I start designing a track plan for my limited space.  ;)

Howdy Bob,

Thanks for the excellent chronicle of the build.  I especially like the description of adding lights using copper tape.  Well done!

Have fun,
mike

Nice work, Bob.

I especially like the staggered tar paper flashings up the side of the dormers.  Nice attention to detail.

Cheers, Mark.

Michael Hohn

Very well done.  Nice choice of kit and well executed.  Shakey's looks appropriately seedy.

Thank you, Jerry! A lot of the credit has to go to Doug Foscale who comes up with these wonderful designs. They're a lot of fun to build.

Thank you, Mike! The lighting adds a couple of extra workbench sessions to the build but I enjoy doing it.
