Time for an update:

Wanted to make an elevated support for the water tank so gravity would allow the water to flow into the boiler. It's 7 ft high and 8.5 ft long, just enough to accept the tank. Used 8x8's for the frame so I ended up with a "beefy" look. The diagonal supports are 2x10's then added 6x6's on the very top to help hold the tank in place. All the wood was grained, colored with raw umber chalks & clear alcohol; when dry I added a liberal coat of A&I. Also added some NBW's for a little bit more detail.

Here's the end view as it will sit facing the outside right of the diorama. Next will, of course, be to paint the tank before weathering it a bit. Thanks for stopping by and for all your great comments and/or suggestions; they're appreciated.
