Good morning everyone.

32 right now in Troutville, VA, cloudy and 46 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Glad the heating problem was an easy fix.

Mike, I look forward to following your next project.

TomO, IMHO, data center owners need to pay for small nuclear reactors to power their systems.
The government needs to get out of the way and let these reactors be built in a much more timely manner.

Dave, any more work on your bridge?

Karl, I shivered when I saw your pictures.

James, hope you made lots of good progress at the bench.

Jerry, hope the new wall build goes better?
Why not make the whole building 1/4" taller?

Ron, have fun with the On30 group.

ACLTom, Philip, Larry and everyone else looking in, what's happening?

Star and I did 4 1/2 miles on the old B&O mainline.
It was cold but I was comfortable.
Star prefers the cold weather over hot weather.
So far just driving further south is planned for today.

This was last month at Lake Havasu.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Nothing wrong with giving "your backside" some exercise. Enjoy you day.

Mike I'll check out your combine after this. Have fun with the new build.

Rick nice to hear you managed to get a hike in and nice photo. Safe travels to warmer climates.

What's the rest of you doing.

It's 25 with a high of 36 and light sn*w. Going to meet up with my Daughter @ noon at the garage then going back to her place and start getting the broken springs removed from her couch. Hopefully I can rebuild it like I planned; a 1:1 scratch build. Maybe a little bench time first.

Have a great day!! Be well, keep warm, and travel safely.

Morning all,

Just checking in this morning. I thought I was getting better but the cough came back with a vengeance four days ago.  Came out and posted to the Koontz build Tuesday. That was probably a mistake. I'm now on my second round of meds and am feeling a little better, but not much. I now have a head cold to go with the cough. Tested negative for Covid and the 3 types of flu.  If this isn't the flu, I don't want to get it.

Doc says it may take another week+ for my body to get rid of the cough.

If you call this good news, I've lost 12 pounds from lack of appetite over the past month.

Later, my mattress is calling.

Please stay safe and healthy everyone.

Well, we woke up this morning to no heat.  The oil tank ran dry.  So we should get an emergency delivery today. I'm glad it didn't happen yesterday, when it was at least 10 degrees colder.  House is currently at 57, and wife took off to her exercise club. There's also an inch of new snow on the ground, which seems to have caught the city road crews by surprise.

Today's plan is to work on the farm bridge.  Once I confirm the center piece fits, I'll work out the approach ramps.  Rick pointed out they're kinda steep, so I'll look at building a dirt ramp up to each side to reduce the slope.

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.

Mike I'll check out the update in a minute.

Larry good luck with the couch build.

Tom hope you feel better.
When I had my cold it took over 10 days to get rid of the dam cough!

Morning Terry.

Dave better keep you eye on that oil level!!!

Weather in South Jersey is cloudy/39.  Later on 37!
Rick I'm using stone walls on the ends!!  It was a stupid mistake on my part.
One of the kids are coming down and we are going out tp dinner with them.
Bench time after they leave tonight.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Bright sun, 220 and wind in the teens. Makes for a great day for Well Diggers  :o We're on the East fringe of the Lake Michigan lake effect so we'll not get the "up to a foot" caveat left off our guess. Cold stays and more snow.

We drove to town and picked up another bag of sunflower seeds as the birds are really flocking around the feeder.

I had some bench time yesterday, clear coated the assembled the C-415. Not a great pick it up and count rivits but overall it looks pretty good. I hope it runs ok. Lots of fumbling of parts in the process.  >:(

Grand daughter is coming over to entertain the Doll. Bench time my plan.  Clean the 3d printer among needed tasks.

That's my bit for today. Be well all, safe travels for the "roadies" amongst us.

Dave; I had the oil guy over fill my basement tank years ago.  They busted their buns to clean it up and neutralize the odor. Was really aggravated.  We're on propane here.

Oil guy just left.  He confirmed they're short delivery drivers.  After filling the tank, he bled the line, and now I have a small dish of oil, that I'll pour back into the tank.  It's red  :o

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 58F. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the low 30's. :o The rescue cancelled today's event because it's supposed to rain in Tampa most of the day so MOH made it home about 2030 last night. I continued practicing weathering techniques yesterday.

Today after chores I need to clean out the van and straighten up the rescue equipment which looks like everything was just thrown into the van.

This coming week we have a trip to Ft. Lauderdale to pick up the 2 animals TBD.

I hope everyone has a good day.
