Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, glazed donuts (not KK), bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Starting out here at 47F and possibly getting to 70F later. Yesterday I finally finished the planking on the barn and set it aside to dry overnight. I read ahead in the instructions also. MOH made it home about 1830.

Today after chores I'll separate the walls from the chipboard background. I have to be careful. Some sides were not completely glued to allow close joining with other walls instead of using separate pieces of strip wood to do it. This afternoon another rescue goes to his permanent home, and thankfully the new owner lives very close to us. ;D

Mike I have not seen a skunk climb a pole either but I have seen them climb furniture and pet fences.

That's enough gabbing for me.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. The OJ is nice and fresh.

I haven't seen a skunk climb anything but I have seen a gator climb a chain link fence.

Pam and I are visiting Bill and Cindy later this afternoon.

I hope to get another update posted for the tower build.

Have a safe, happy and warm day everyone.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. I'm jealous of your temps down there. Have fun with your build.

Tom enjoy your visit and looking forward to your update.

There's currently clear sunny skies with temps to "freeze the nads off a brass monkey" with the highs about the same. Other than keeping warm not sure about the rest of the day.

Have a great day!! Be well, stay safe, and keep warm.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Currently 51 here, sunny and 82 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope separating the walls goes well.

ACLTom, that's not something you see everyday.
Star used to be able to climb over the fence in my yard.

Larry, stay in and stay warm.

Dave, hope painting the walls goes well today.

Mike, I guess we'll see a post office update soon.

Jerry, I know it's crazy cold at your place.

Ron, is the roof done?

Karl, I haven't watched a lick of the Olympics.

TomO, hope the grandson and his team did well yesterday.

How's everyone else doing?

The young'ens wore me out yesterday.
Today, Star and I will head north about 35 miles and do a hike.
After that I'll stop at Buffalo Wild Wings for one of their bacon cheeseburgers.
Then I'll drive back to the house.

I might of posted this before.

Good morning,

Curt, thank you for the coffee and breakfast.  Good luck with the transfer.

TomACL, whoa, a gator climbing a fence!  Please tell Bill we miss his posts and wish him well.

Larry, I feel sorry for the monkey.  Wishing you warm weather.

Rick, hope you enjoy the hike.  That bacon cheeseburger sounds delicious.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning at 28F, but warming to 60F this afternoon. I added roof trusses to the post office and primed the building.  I think I'll use fish-scale-type shingles painted green.  Super Bowl party tonight at our daughter's.  Go Cowboys!

Have fun,
mike

9o going to around 20o under overcast, at the moment, some warmer temps in a day of two.

I did nothing worth mentioning yesterday until the evening when we watched my SPARTANS outlast the Illini in overtime. An entertaining game most all evening.  SPARTAN girls won their game as did the hockey team.   No interest in that football money grab tonight.  IF I watch it will not mean much, just fill time.

Enjoy the day all.

Larry tell me you're jealous about our temps come July thru October. ;D

Tom I have never seen it in person but I have seen videos of gators climbing. Enjoy your visit with Bill. Please tell him hi from me.

Good morning Curt, ACLTom, Larry, Rick, Mike, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, sounds like you are making great progress on the kit.

ACLTom, Have a great visit with Bill and Cindy, hopefully Bill is doing much better.  Tell Bill I say Hi.

Larry, stay warm today.

Rick, yes the roof is finished.  ;D Enjoy your hike with Star.

Mike, enjoy the football game tonight at your daughter's.

Karl, have a great day.

Dave, sorry the painting didn't go as planned, hopefully there is an easy solution.

Current temperature is -22c (-8f) and overcast.  Like Larry, it's a good day to stay inside.  Finished the first building of the challenge build yesterday and posted it on my build thread.  Today I start the second building with distressing and staining wood, should be fun.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
How many more skunks do you have there??

Tom nice picture of a gator!  Hope it wasn't your backyard.

Larry ask the monkey if he wants to come in and sit by the fire!!  ;D

Rick nice picture.  I'll have a burger with you sounds good.

Mike I hate to bust your bubble but the "COWBOYS" didn't make it this year!!  :D

Ron I'll check the update later.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/12.  RF/6.
Today should be the last of the single digits hopefully.
I hope to get my wall finished today I brought a table in side to work on it.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 45F that although there was no breeze, felt colder. Yesterday I cut the walls off the chipboard (that was a pain) and read ahead. Next up looks like doors, windows and stenciled signage.

After chores I'll head up to the workbench. Nothing else much planned. Tomorrow I have to take Dad back to the ER.

Dave I forwarded the drawing to MOH who shared it with the rescue.

Jerry we currently have 9. The number fluctuates depending on need. Four are ours, and 2 are "senior retirees" living out the rest of their lives comfortably. The only time they all come out in mass is mealtimes. They have the same clock in their heads that dogs do when it comes to food.

Well that's enough for today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.

Sadly, the Cowboys did not win the Super Bowl again.  Man, it's been 30 years since the last one.

Lodge tonight, may work on the PO today.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning, Curt, Mike and the rest of the gang.  Bright sun on the lower Merrimack valley will melt off more of my driveway, low was 5F, high might be 27.  But my driveway will continue to melt.  Most of today will be model work, I'll show some progress on my Challenge overpass.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Have fun with the kit.

Mike sorry to hear about the Cowboys and enjoy the time at then bench.

James hope your temps make it to 27 today.

It's minus 9 with a high of 20 so we'll see. After it warms up some I have to deal with the sn*w in the driveway and cars; NOT looking forward to that. Did spend some time working on Hank's yesterday.

Have a great day!! Be well and keep warm.

Mike as a kid we lived in El Paso and Dad was a die hard Cowboys fan. We would watch them play on Sunday. My suck up brother always rooted with Dad but I always rooted for any other team. Now I refuse to watch any of them. ::)

Good morning everyone.

Currently 47 here, mostly sunny and 81 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Have fun working on the kit.

Larry, take your time with the s$#@ and stay safe.

James, have fun at the bench.

Mike, what's really frustrating is watching a QB that the Jet's drafted win a SB, and they couldn't win with him.

Jerry, glad you were able to bring a table inside to work on.

Ron, hope you had fun staining and distressing.

Karl, how are you liking Starlink?

How's the rest of the crew today?

Star and I hiked 10.4 miles and 1,175 of EG gain on the Secret Pass Loop in Bullhead City, AZ.
Saw about a dozen burros who got a lot of attention from Star.
No, she didn't get close enough to them where she might get hurt.
Afterward I had a delicious burger at BWW.
Stocked up with DEF, water and fuel at Walmart.
Then headed to Jacklynn's boyfriend's house to watch most of the game.
I showered during the half time show.
I need to call a urologist to make an appointment.
Might head into the desert for some me time.

Three burros from yesterday.

Have a great day everyone.
