Hockey 1-1 at the end of regulation time...

Enjoyed seeing friends at Division meeting yesterday. The regular meeting place is quite a way from home. Traffic was more than I am used to.

Back to the ice.

Afternoon  everyone

I put on a fresh pot of coffee.
Or if you want something else help yourself.
The bar is open and there cold drinks in the fridge.

Great pictures by Rick and Dave this morning.

Had to run an errand before now were in for the day or two days.
It has started to sn*w here in South Jersey.
The "WEENIES" have the amount up to 25" North of us 18".

Be a good day to sit at the bench.
I'll post a picture later but it's not much.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Howdy folks,

Curt, thanks for opening. Good luck with the water tank build.

TomACL, SBG sounds like it was a lot of fun.  Looking forward to Horwood...

Rick, that looks like a rugged climb and hike.

Larry, congrats on the couch completion.  That's a big deal!  Hope the nasty sneaux treats you well.

James, hope the diesel run was successful. Stay warm.

Dave, good luck dodging the cold.

Ron, sounds like work at the bench has been successful.

Philip, hope you stay warm up there.  Brrrr...

Karl, glad the division meeting went well.

Jerry, glad you made it to the bench.

How is the rest of the crew?

Sharon's birthday celebration is tomorrow, and we braved the wind and journeyed to Biloxi, MS.  It was a bright day but windy, windy, windy.  Temps are in the high 50s.

I plan to work on a few AI projects and design the hotel project while we are here.  Sharon's is a gamer, so she will be in the casino "gaming".  I just as soon shave or brush my teeth as go to the casino.  It is most boring to me.

Have fun,
mike

My current builds are a Post Office. and miscellaneous rolling stock

Evening

This was 20 minutes after it started to S*NOW!!!!!

Now they upped to 30" along the coast.

Rick

Jerry, are you hunkering down or going out periodically to keep up with shoveling?
Either way, stay warm and safe.
I saw a prediction for a place not far from you that is getting 40".

Jerry

I've been out shoveling once!  It's so windy here now you can't see worth a dam!
I'm playing it safe actually a neighbor helped shovel the driveway.

I'm going tp have a glass of bourbon and sit back and watch it snow so more!!

Good morning everyone.

53 right now in Congress, AZ, sunny and a few clouds with a high of 74 later.

Coffee, OJ, sodas and hot chocolate are ready.
Fried egg, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and avocado on your choice of toast for breakfast today.

Jerry, staying in and having a bourbon likes like a good choice.
Take it easy when you do go out.
How much did you get?

Mike, Happy Birthday to Sharon. Hope she did well at the casino.

Karl, congratulations to the women's and men's hockey teams.

Philip, how much white stuff did you get?

Ron, good news on missing the storm and keep making progress on your build.

Dave, I'm enjoying your pictures and did they get the s#$@ totals right?

James, I missed what the 1:1 track plan is for.
I'll have to look harder to see if you started a thread.

Larry, good news on the sofa fix.
But don't get too comfortable on it because there's more to do at the bench.  ;)

ACLTom, keep having fun in the shed.

Curt, did you get your chair back?  ;D

How's everyone else?

Star and I did 5.45 miles and 1,152' of climbing on the Vulture Peak Trail.
The person who told be the trail goes around the back was wrong.
It goes right up the front.
While I was still a fair distance from the mountain, I saw the chute that goes to the top and was concerned about climbing up on the rocks.
But, when I got to the base of the mountain I saw there was a series of switchbacks that went 3/4 of the way up.
The last bit was some rock scrambling but nothing too difficult.
Only issue with the trail was stopping a few times to get cactus spines out of Star's paws.

After the hike I drove to Congress for the night.
I'll go to Prescott today and hit a gym there.

Started the hike just before sunrise.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Nice landscape. I hope Star's paws are ok.

Started out with a walk at 46F and a feel like temp of 41F and only getting to 54F today. The wind is like a knife.

MOH canceled Sunday's event so was home by 11 am and I did all the cleanup stuff that happens after an event getting home. No modeling was done yesterday.

Today after chores I hope to start on the water tank.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thanks for opening the doors and the breakfast Rick. Sounds like you and Star had a great hike even with the spines in the paws. Nice photo as well.

Jerry, that photo makes me cold just looking at it. I don't drink but if it warms the me up, I may have one.

Have a nice, safe and warm day everyone.

Good Morning,

Jerry the bourbon and sn*w watching was definitely a good choice. Take it easy when you do shovel; that's a lot of stuff to try and shovel and that's from experience.

Rick thanks for coffee and breakfast. Hope Star's paws are ok; ice photo.

Curt I'd like to feel sorry for you abut the temps but...ah....no. Keep warm and enjoy the bench time.

Tom you're not alone I gave up drinking years ago.

What's the rest of you doing.

It's a cloudy 28 with a high of 32. You guys that are in the lizard area hunker down and stay warm. A couple of errands then a small 1:1 project then maybe some bench time.

Have a great day!! Be well, keep warm, and take it easy out there.

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Nice picture wish I was there this morning!!

Curt your a good man doing those chores first.

Tom it will warm you up!  :)

Larry have fun with the 1:1 projects.

Weather report from South Jersey we have 18" on the ground and it's still SN*WING!!!
It's going to be a long day of shoveling.
But I won't be overdoing it as far as I'm concerned I'd wait for it to melt!!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  :)

Greetings from snowy SE NH.  Looks like this storm is staying south of us.

Two photos from Japan.  The first is from Kyoto:

And the second from the Edo City Museum in Tokyo.  They had a large model display of Tokyo from around 1900.  (I suspect the scale here is something like 1:50)

I cancelled my PT appointment today.  German class will be via Zoom, and the rest of the day is mine...

Good morning Rick, Curt, ACLTom, Larry. Jerry, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Rick, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and it sounds like you and Star had an interesting hike, hope Star's paws are OK.

Curt, hope you can get to the bench today.

ACLTom, have a great day.

Larry, hope the 1:1 stuff gets done quickly so you can get to the bench today.

Jerry, hope it stops snowing soon.  I don't worry about the white stuff as we have a service that gets rid if it for us.

Dave, enjoy your day.

Mike, hope Sharon has a great birthday.

Current weather here is -4c (25f) with blue skies.  Never made it to the bench yesterday, between laundry, a grocery run and hanging shelves in the Mrs craft room the day got away from me.  Hopefully I'll have some time at the bench this evening.

Have a great day everyone.

I'll be in the area all day.  Cold, windy, nowhere near the snow as in the NE, just wind and mid 20s for temps, drop feels like to low teens :-*

Layout on the agenda for work today, we'll see, how that plays out.

Stay safe in the snow out there ;)
