Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Good luck with the SS site and taxes.

Curt, good luck with the VA.  Enjoy the me time this weekend.

Rick, hope you enjoy the tough hike.

Dave, my wife does the same thing.

Jerry, hope you got the bench time.

Philip, cast away. Those are handsome figures.

Ron, good luck with the rafter fix.

James, hope the clinic goes well.

Karll, the terraforming is looking good.

How is the rest of the crew?

IT's a bright morning at 57°F, headed to 83°F.  We are still a few weeks away from the last chance for a freeze, but things are starting to bud.

Yesterday I spent a lot of time at the bench painting details.  I painted flesh on figures, and sprayed a wood basecoat on the crates and barrels. I'll probably do more of the same today.

Have fun,
mike

Little to add to the mix this morning, spent most of yesterday away from hobby stuff.  The Doll's dental trip was over within 15 minutes of her going "behind the curtain" Once home I had a trip to go for groceries as well as return a defective spray can of Rustoleum to Menards.

Last evening our SPARTANS blew a 19 point second half lead to go right down to the last seconds to retain a 4 point victory, nearly ruining Senior night.  The usual replace each Sr and allow them a spotlighted exit, kissing the big logo at center court almost blew up in their faces and they all the starters had to stay in right down to the very end... :o

Wet and foggy here, a warm front is forecast to send 2-3 waves of ugly through the area, a couple chances of severe.  Layout time if I'm lucky. 50s or maybe 60 in the temp here by late afternoon a possibility.  Our snow is again gone.  Trail cam tripped yesterday from Northern Command shows a healthy bit of snow still up there.

Be well all, enjoy the day.

Morning everyone

Larry thanks for the breakfast & coffee.
Good luck with SS.

Curt maybe they didn't like the new couches!!!  :)

Rick great picture.
Be careful on the hike.

Morning Dave nice picture.
Hope the wife feels better.

Mike it takes time to paint all those little pieces but they sure make a scene.

Karl when do you make a trip up to the Northern Command?

Weather in South Jersey cloudy again/43.  Later rain.
I did manage to get some siding stained and put on.
More of that today.  A picture should be coming along shortly I hope.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good afternoon everyone.

Seeing as it is afternoon I put a fresh pot of coffee.

Checking in late today because the Mrs had a couple of Dr's appointment and she asked me to be the chauffeur, so I did.  ;D

Managed to fix the rafter issue last night.  I'll hopefully get an update up later today.

Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon, all.  Thick overcast but just above freezing in the lower Merrimack Valley, about 3" new crusty stuff finished after breakfast.  We shoveled the minimum this morning, because they guess it will reach 60F Tuesday. There were a bunch of things I was thinking about doing after lunch, but then I found a late 1099 in the mail so that's 15 pages to scan.

Good Morning All,

Today is find your own breakfast day. Stuff is in the pantry and fridge.

Started out the day with a walk at 68F with some humidity and getting to 86F today. Yesterday my VA eye appointment was switched from next week to the end of June. :-\ In the train room I weathered the 3 roofs and placed rafters on the store porch roof card.

Today I need to clean the dining room and drop some books off at the library. If I make it to the train room I'll start mounting smoke stacks on the 3 roofs.

Tom I hope you're up and moving around.

Rick I hope you and Star enjoyed the hike.

Don't forget to change your clocks tonight.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Thankd for all the well wishes. My leg is sore but the surgery went well. Doc. said they cut out all the skin cancer. Today is my first time out of bed since Tuesday afternoon. Having the leg propped up was more of an inconvenience than anything. However, I did what was suggested, stayed off the leg for 3-4 days.

I won't be in the train shed long this morning but wanted to check in.

I should be back to normal on Monday. Whatever, normal for me is anyway.

Have a great day and stay healthy everyone.

Good morning everyone.

49 in Salome, sunny and 69 later.

Curt, I rummaged around and found the coffee maker and fired it up.
Also found eggs, bacon and hash browns for breakfast.
You asked if I was in pain and I am not in any pain.

James, which is worse, shoveling s#$@ or taxes?

Ron, very interesting qualifying results today.

Jerry, hope more siding was finished.

Karl, how close was that tornado to you?

Philip, thank you for conserving our monthly forum allotment of pixels.  ;)

Mike, buds appearing is great and have fun with the detail painting.

Dave, hope your wife is feeling much better.

ACLTom, how are you doing?

How's the rest of the crew.

Star and I did 7.93 miles and 2,126' of climbing on the Harquahala Mountain trail.
The trail continued another mile and 1,400' of climbing to the peak, but I started the hike late and didn't pack a lunch so I turned around.
This hike was a test to see how well my climbing was and I felt good doing the 2,000'+ of climbing.
I'll have to do more hikes with lots of climbing to get back into peak hiking shape.
The trail was beautiful with all the yellow wildflowers in bloom.
Today will be a rest day.

This is Star on the trail yesterday.

Good morning,

Curt, thanks for opening.  Hope you weather the day, and 1:1 stuff doesn't stack up.

Tom, good to see you up and about.

James, good luck with the taxes.

Ron, congrats on the rafter fix.

Jerry, looking forward to photos of the siding installation.

Karl, good to hear the temps are warming up there.

Philip, good morning.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a sunny morning at 60°F, warming to 82°F this afternoon.  Still painting details, but finished the details for the sheriff's office yesterday.  I hope to plant the loading dock and its details today.

Have fun,
mike

Right now it's foggy and 34, with a touch of black ice on the roads.  In a bit, I'll head down to the train room and work on the boxcar kit.  Maybe I'll tackle scenery tomorrow.

Good morning crew,

Thanks for the coffee.

Glad your on the mend Tom.

Wondering about Karl this am... Michigan had some terrible weather with a Tornado.

Typical Spring weather today. Windy and cloudy.

Have a great weekend!

Jim Donovan

Good Morning;

Great pictures Dave. Tom glad to hear you are on the mend and hope everyone else doing well. We woke up to great weather in 70's and plan to get some yard work done this morning and benchtime in the afternoon. Not much else to report so have a great day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hopefully the train room is in the cards today.

Tom glad to hear the leg is doing well but take'er easy anyway.

Rick very nice photo; looks like Star was enjoying herself.

Mike good luck in the train room.

Dave nice photos and love the architecture.

Philip enjoy the Spring weather.

Jim have fun at the bench. I'd love to do yard work but I'll have to wait for the rest of the sn*w tp melt first.

What's the rest of you up to?

It's a cloudy 45 with a high of 62 in New York. The snow is slowly melting and the driveway is almost bare. Going to our Daughters shortly to put a bookcase together for her to display more of her Funko Pops; she's getting quite the collection. Did get in some bench time earlier working on Hank's. Spent some time on the phone yesterday with the SS nightmare and had to change my tax appointment as well.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Curt, hope you make it to the bench today.

Tom, glad to hear that the surgery went well and your healing is going well.

Rick, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  The F1 qualifying was interesting, should be an interesting race tomorrow.  Enjoy your day of rest.

Mike, Have fun at the bench.

Dave, interesting buildings, have fun working on the boxcar.

Philip, enjoy your day.

Jim, don't overdo it with the yard work today.
