I've not had a trail cam photo from the cedar swamp yet. I imagine little wildlife moving around the area.

OPS was good yesterday. Was midway thru the major switch job when the shift ended at 4. Was told it would be there waiting for me. Next session in a couple weeks.

Damn cold here this am. Sunday hit 60, this am it was 14

All I've got. Be safe.

Good morning gang!

Another cold one...come-on spring!

Internet has been up and down for the last 18 hours. If the wind blows it goes stupid.
Finally back up after the tech guy told me it was my router last night.........

Good Morning All,

Thanks for breakfast Larry. Sorry about the s**w.

Started out with a walk at 46F and a darn cold breeze. It's just supposed to get in the low 60's today. We had a heck of a thunderstorm late afternoon yesterday.

Yesterday I ended up chauffering dad to multiple locations but I did get sn hour at the workbench. I started on the stair supports. They are very fragile and fiddly.

After VA I ran a couple of errands and checked fluids in the van for MOH. Tomorrow she heads to SC to see her BFF. She'll be back next Monday or Tuesday.

Rick great photo. A 10 mile hike makes my legs hurt these days. Hard to believe I was ever a runner (military days).

Larry that might be true about corned beef but I love it grilled with a spicy BBQ sauce.

That's enough blabbing for today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Yesterday's rain washed most of the snow off the yard.  There are still some piles, but it's rapidly transitioning to Mud Season.

Today's travel photos are from "Holy Toledo" in Spain.

If you ever go to Spain, Toledo is the must-see location.  There's more to see there than anywhere else.  It's a short train trip from Madrid, but you really should spend the night there.  It's a site where walking around after the tourists have left is worth it.

I'm here late, I had an early morning optometrist appointment (pre-cataract measurements).  Down to the train room in a bit.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, assorted. pastry from Costco, OJ, and soda.

Starting out here at 43F and getting to 68F later with a general warm up for the rest of the week. There was no modeling yesterday since MOH decided we needed to go to Costco $$$$. The gas was 30 cents cheaper a gallon than everyone else.

Today is floor day after MOH leaves on her trip then I hope for some quality bench time. Pizza for supper! ;D

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope the floors goes quickly and enjoy your quality time in the train room. Can never go wrong with pizza for supper.

What's the rest of you up to.

It's 16 with a high of 33. Got another 5 inches of white crap overnight so the driveway will be revisited after yesterday's removal. With the warm temps last week the driveway gravel is soft which makes blowing it a challenge. Some bench time first though.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

45 now in Bellemont, sunny and 77 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
I wish more Costco gas stations offered diesel because they generally are cheaper than anywhere else.
Enjoy the pizza.

Dave, good luck with the upcoming cataract procedure.

Philip, great news about the huge order.

Karl, glad ops was fun and that's a crazy amount of s#$@.

Ron and Jerry, maybe with the extra time off because of cancelled races will give teams time to improve and make it more competitive.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Drove to Flagstaff yesterday.
Walked around downtown a bit with Star.
Then drove west just a little and found an excellent spot to camp.
I'll stay here all day and take it easy before doing another hike tomorrow.
There are some excellent trails in the area but most are still covered in s$%# or the roads there are closed.
Messaged the urologist yesterday and still no equipment to do the procedure.  :P

This is from my hike in Sedona.

Have a great day everyone.

I was on a small group tour.  We got out, the guide said "Look around, what do you notice about this location?"  I said, "We're in a caldera!"  "That's right.  There's no way out.  You're in the crater of a volcano."

Today I turn 70...  I think that's the age where you start pondering your own mortality.  I'm driving my wife to Boston for a specialist appointment, so not much Training planned for today.

Dave, Happy Birthday!

I forgot to ask if anyone spotted Star in yesterday's picture?

I went back and looked carefully (took off my glasses, my nose was about 6" from the 27" screen), I found her in the shadows!

Forgot to mention, I'm still going through my Chieftains CD collection, started yesterday.  What great music!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fTjajkPGOk

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Safe travels for Kathy on the trip and fun times with dad and pizza.

Star, in the shadows - lower right in picture.

46 here and I'm so ready for the Florida weather to return. Dang tired of this cold stuff.

Our team took 6 of 8 points in bowing yesterday. We all bowled well. I had a high game of 258 for a change. Hopefully this will help me get out of my bowling slump.

Pool repair guy will be here today, if he doesn't cancel.

I'll continue the build of Horwood sometime today.

Have a safe, warm and happy day everyone.

Good morning,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Enjoy the day at the bench.

Larry, I think I would prefer the bench first over shoveling sneaux.

Rick, Sedona is one beautiful place.

Dave, happy birthday!

Tom, Horwood's is looking good.  Good luck with the pool guy.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning, but cold.  It's warming tomorrow, though.

Sharon and I have a date for lunch, then I have lodge tonight.  Work continues on the layout.  I made a brick platform for the depot and modified the landscape to accept it.

Have fun,
mike

Philip

Good Morning Crew!

Happy Birthday Dave!

I have some dental stuff today.

maybe some bench later.

I always look for the pup!
