Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope the stairs go well for you and yes they can be a "pita". I'm going to make a set of those myself for my next project.

Tom congrats, so I guess there'll be a wedding at some point. Ah yes, isn't young love grand. Have fun at the bench.

What's on your agenda.

It's a rainy 45 with a high of fifty so maybe what little bit of Sn*w that's left will disappear. The other day I happen to look out in the back yard and was greeted by a....wait for it....ROBIN!!!! Looks like Spring actually might be here. Going to hit the bench shortly and start on my next project; already ordered the windows and porch posts from San Juan details. Oh ya, watched the Michigan State Spartans play yesterday; dang they do look good and was surprised seeing Coach Izzo still in the game.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Rick

Good morning everyone.

48 in Bellemont, cloudy and 71 later.

Didn't see any coffee so I made a pot.
Looked in the fridge and found bacon and eggs.

Larry, that's a sure sign spring is on the way.

ACLTom, congratulations to your grandson and fiancé.
Don't over do it in the yard.

Curt, step by step at the bench today.

Bernd, enjoy your new tool.

Ron, keep having fun running trains.

Jerry, great news on the plaster floor.

Karl, I think your team won, didn't it?

Mike, how's the figure painting going?

Dave, I heard they did a great job repairing the church.

Hope everyone else is well.

Not much happened here yesterday.
Pretty much the same for today.
Though I probably will do my taxes and work more on the video.

This was the turn around point on the Butcher Jones Trail.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for breakfast.  I found a western omelet and a pot of coffee.  Good luck at the bench.

Tom, congrats to your grandson. Nice to spend time with the family.

Larry, hope you enjoy your next project.  Curious fans wonder what it is...

Rick, I can't think of a worse way of spending the day than doing taxes.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a nice morning at 60°F, headed to 84°F.  This afternoon we are going to the movie (Project, Hail Mary) with our Daughter and SIL. Figure painting progresses, but I spent most of yesterday continuing the improvement of my hobby area.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning,

I found coffee!

Wow Tom, looks like back breaking work!

Bernd, I cut my last sheet of PC board on a table saw with 3m mask for painting and gloves. Terrible smelling stuff! Hope that rig will shear that PC board?

Suppose to be 87° today.

Jerry

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for opening.
I'll have a cup of coffee.
Good luck with the stairs.

Tom sound like a happy occasion!

Larry are you going to put those parts in a building?  ;D

Nice picture Rick looks like a nice fishing hole!!
Taxes no way to spend a day Rick.

Mike let us know how the movie is?

Morning Philip.  Send us some of that 87 will you!!

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/51.  But 73 later with showers.
We are waiting for our friend to come over and fix our dryer which decided to stop running yeesterday.
Grained some wood for the floor now it needs to be glued down and stained.
Should be able to do that today.  Plus start the machine to power the machines.

Everyone have a wonderful day!!   :)

SPARTY, and Coach Izzo, move forward yesterday.  Izzo's team is something to watch, most of the time.

Bit of an off center  :-\ state yesterday. It appears the bubble is back closer to center this morning :D ...

Grey, rain forecast and mid 50s this morning.  Working on rocks later, watched a video and saw rocks, tried the process and looks like blobs of plaster..with practice, maybe.  :P  I'm going to stick with my plans and hope to make some progress.

Friends down the road at Northern Command walked in and checked it out yesterday, looked good and the propane is up still to ~3/4.  Said there was a 6' drift at the end of the driveway.

Jason in Escanaba caught the E&LS snow plow this week.  Equipment is home made, a bailing wire and bubble gum express.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf9TV-4JO_s  The old SP SD9 is a daily runner up there.

All I have for now.  Enjoy the day everyone.

This is a university town north of Porto.  That's a student in academic robes sitting there, there was a big university event going on when we visited.   And a view from the other side of the wall:

We're getting mixed rain and snow today, typical March weather.

Good afternoon all.

I want to get an early start on tomorrows hike so I won't be here.
I did my taxes.
My return is very basic and it didn't take long and I owe ZERO.
Also worked on my Nevada Northern Railway Museum video.
I had to break it up into 2 or 3 parts.
Part 1 is up now and part 2 will be uploaded next week.

I'll see you all Tuesday and enjoy your evening.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 58F and misty then getting up to 83F later. Yesterday I spent a couple of hours working on the stairs with me finishing about 90% of it. I hope to finish them today.

MOH texted me while I was feeding the animals that she is on her way home. Should be here around 2pm. Of course that's with a stop at the Buccee's in Daytona.

Rick enjoy your hike and I'll watch the video later.

Karl that is very cool with the plow and deer.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Monday morning and forecast of more snow, temps back down around 30.  Weather front changing something and making all the joints ache this morning had me awake at 0530 this morning and giving up on trying to sleep by 0630.

Little to add to the mix today.

Layout had a short visit yesterday, I couldn't find the paint I was going to use, so I came up and had a 3d print I was trying go to crap, printed supports but not the object intended.  Need a troubleshoot day.  Won't be today, tho.

Enuf for now.

Be well all. ;)

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Enjoy your time at the bench. I neglected to mention the photo you posted the other day, your skunk seems to have made itself right at home in your chair. The way it was curled up reminded me of a cat.

Karl hope you feel better soon and yup the "old joints" are now a weather indicator. Good luck with the modeling endeavors.

What's on your agenda today?

It's a cloudy 31 with a high of 35. Yesterday it rained most of the day...hello Spring. Have a Chiropractor's apt this am to straighten out my lower back after doing something really stupid over the weekend; I guess I'm not a young'in any more. Hopefully some bench time to finish up what I'm working on. If so maybe I can start a new build thread sometime today.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.
