Not sure how much time I'll get in the train room today, I have some honey-do house maintenance tasks to tackle once I'm back from German class.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

We have dental app. this morning at 9:30. Hopefully modeling will fill my afternoon.

Karl, hope you feel better soon.

I worked in the yard for several hours yesterday, the old bones ain't what they used to be but I'm still able to do manual labor. I won't do any today as we have bowling tomorrow.

Have a safe, healthy and happy day everyone.

Howdy folks,

Well, mixed results on the honey-do items.  The kitchen sink drain is plumbed differently than the bedroom drains, so I could not remove and clean the trap.  But I did run a brush down as far as I could into the trap, and the drain does seem to be running better.

In the basement, since the GFCI was tripping even after we replaced the pump, I talked to the plumber.  He agreed next thing to try is replace the GFCI, which I did.  I think there's one more component in that system, so if the new GFCI starts tripping, that'll have to get replaced too.

Now on the positive side:  Today, in what might be the first time, I went into my boxes of detail parts and found what I was looking for -in the first box-.  That's the pulley on-a-bracket set from BESTTrains castings.  I cleaned that up and primed it.  I'll finish painting it tomorrow (paint the pulley dark grey), add 'rope' and install it on the barn.

Howdy folks,  I forgot to post a review of Hail Mary.

Bottom line, it was terrific   Perhaps a tiny bit woke, and a bit too much humor for my taste (I love hard-core scifi), but overall, it is one of the best I've seen lately. I recommend it.  I heard kids in the audience loving it.

Have fun,

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Starting out here in the 60's and heading to the 80's today.I haven't looked yet at the forecast. Poor sleep last night. Yesterday MOH made it home early.

Today after chores we have errands to do. then a minor project in the bird room. Going to the movies tomorrow and my annual doc appointment is Friday. Also, on Friday MOH is going to Sarasota for a quilting get together. I believe she'll be back on Sunday.

Next up on the build is a ramshackle shed.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

47 in Bellemont, sunny and 75 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and bagel.
I guess you're going to see Hail Mary.

Mike, thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed it.

Dave, good luck with the plumbing and electrical issues.

Ron, all the best to your wife on her upcoming surgery.

Jerry, hope the window weathering went well.

Philip, still painting figures?

ACLTom, hope the dental visit wasn't too painful.

Larry, hope you got some relief at the chiropractor.

Karl, neat videos.
Is there a road crew that clears the grade crossing after the train passes?

Hope everyone else is doing very well.

Star and I did 11.6 miles and 1,178' of EG on the Sycamore Rim Trail yesterday.
Today I think I'll do a gym visit.
I'll also message the doctor and ask if the equipment he needs showed up.
His answer will effect my near term plans.

This is from my hike last week on the Kachina Trail.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Sounds like a busy week.  Looking forward to the ramshackle shed.

Larry, hope you make it to the bench.

Rick, that's quite a walk, but not surprising.  I bet Star enjoyed the views.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a sunny morning, cooling a bit this afternoon to 66°F.  I have lodge tonight, but hope to continue painting little people today.

Have fun,
mike

Cloudy bright in MI this morning, with upper 20s going to 40ish :-[

We upgraded the Doll's transportation from a 2012 to a 2016 4runner yesterday.  I believe the 'wild hare/hair' will be chilled down a bit. ;)   Of course, gas went up another dime yesterday.

No plan yet for today, layout might be on the list.

Rick, I saw a different clip of the snow plow and at some point the E&LS did have a half dozen guys with shovels, cleaning up.  Sort of like the roustabouts following the elephant in the circus parade.

All there is, be well.
