Good morning Larry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Everyone must be sleeping in this morning.  I was going to put the coffee on and make breakfast but Larry beat me to it.

Current weather is -11c (12f) and sunny.  According to the long range forecast this will get warmer after today.  Wife's surgery has been rescheduled to April 7th.  While I didn't get as much done reorganizing the crew lounge yesterday I did make it to the bench and made some more progress on the challenge build, I'll try to post an update later today.  Today's plan is working on the crew lounge and bench time.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning from MI where yesterday's 65o has morphed into this morning's 25oMorning sun to heavy rain to this morning's snow flurries.  Girl at the paint store said, "I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind..." I replied, "well, if it was FATHER Nature it would be 80o and sunny..for the next 6 months. 8)  ::)

I worked on the layout a bit yesterday.  Trying to get some color balance in the "opening scene" corrected.  The project is dragging on.

Today will be spent preparing for the Sweet 16 opener for SPARTY at a mind numbing 9:45 pm.  Might check in late to ops... :(

All I've got.  Curt, too bad about the aborted mission.  That stinks...

Be well all.

Good morning everyone.

It will be sunny and 88 here in Arizona.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.

Didn't set up Starlink so keeping it brief on my phone.
Already been to the gym.
A little grocery shopping and then continue heading back towards the hospital.
Still waiting to hear from the doctor about an appointment.

Have a great day everyone.

This is the 'main event'.  The museum was formed to hold remnants from the Altar of Zeus in Pergamon, Turkey.  Some photos of the carvings:

There's also a Roman facade and the Assyrian gate I posted yesterday.  Several of the major museums in Berlin are located on the "Museum Island".  After reunification, they have all been undergoing major renovations, repairing war damage, adding new HVAC systems and handicapped access, etc.

It's cloudy, breezy and chilly today.  Tomorrow is a return to winter, but warming Sunday and into the 60s by early next week.

Plan for today is some experimentation with a piece of the grass mat I glued to a ball of paper, to learn how to dampen the mat and scrape off some of the grass, without making a total mess of things.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thank you for opening, the coffee and the quiche. Hope the weather stays nice up there.

Ron, sorry the surgery was postponed.  Have fun in the crew lounge.

Karl, good luck with the color balance.  Have fun at ops.

Philip, I have felt your pain.

Curt, waiting is the worst part.  Hope you brought a book.

Rick, hope you hear from the doc soon.

Dave, good luck with the experiment.

Jerry, sounds like a perfect Friday.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's hazy out, but warming to 84°F. This morning was spent painting figures.  I'm not too far away from completing this batch.  I'll be offline until Sunday.

Have fun,
mike

Well I lost another post this morning. Things went very well at the VA yesterday  with 1 prescription being canceled. I see quality modeling time in my future today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,

Breakfast is ready, help your self to self-serve. Drinks on the end.

Curt, glad all went well yesterday.

I'm meeting the Judge for lunch at out local BSing watering hole. I'll report his progress later.

Rick, nothing killed the grass this time but the last sod I got was from a crappy company and the sod was full of crab grass. I took the opportunity to dig it out as the crab grass died from the freeze and I don't want it coming back.

I'm declaring today as my day of rest from yard work.

Have a safe and happy day.

Driving that road (that -is- the highway through the photo) was my most white-knuckle experience in a car.  Cliffs to the left, 2 lane road, a plunge on the right into the ocean, and large tour busses driven by Italian drivers coming at you!

It's sunny but cold today.  It was almost 20 when I took the dogs out, heading to 35 with light to moderate winds.  After some time on the exercise machine, I'll putz with my experimental pieces of grass mat, and then decide the next steps for the mat installed around the farm.  The apple orchard arrived yesterday, and those trees look pretty good.  And then Scotch Club this afternoon...

Morning All,

Thought I'd check in while I wait for some siding to dry.

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Enjoy your lunch with the Judge and your day of yard rest.

Curt have fun at the bench.

Dave sounds like a full day ahead; enjoy.

It's a sunny 28 with a high of only 33 although tomorrow it's going back up into the 50's. Work continues on the Mercantile with building the 2 side walls. My windows are set to arrive Thursday next.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning everyone.

68 now and sunny and 90 later in Morristown, AZ.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and DIY breakfast.
You have earned a rest day.

Larry, continued good progress at the bench.

Dave, I've done a few of those white knuckle drives in my travels.

Curt, great news from the VA.
I've been copying my posts before posting so I have a backup if the unthinkable happens.

Mike, be well while you're offline.

Jerry, hope you have an all mine day today.

Karl, sorry about the game outcome.

How's everyone else?

I started the day with a gym visit and then some supply restocking.
Then the best part of the started when I arrived at Jeff Firestone's (NYCJeff) home.
Jeff gave me a tour of his amazing basement filling layout.
I know layouts are never really done but this one is completely sceniced and populated with contest winning models.
Also got a tour of Jeff's property which is stunning and remote.
I was treated to a delicious pizza for dinner.
Thank you Jeff, Linda and Sammi (their dog) for the hospitality.
So nice here I decided to stay another day.
Might do a little walkabout before it gets too hot after having my breakfast.

This was on my hike on the Sycamore Canyon Rim Trail.

Have a great day everyone.

Jerry

Rick good morning.

Did you take any pictures of the layout???

Have a great day!!  :)
