Karl seems like yard work is the work today.

Great picture Rick.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry. Hopefully you can get some bench time in today.

Ron, fantastic news for you wife. I see being a homemaker in your future.

Rick, I'm happy to be back even for a few days. Beautiful picture of the grand Canyon, breath taking view.

Karl, yard work will definitely take some energy out of us at this age. I have a cubic yard of top soil to spread Thursday and then 1800 sq. ft. of St. Augustine sod to lay after that. I'm tired just thinking about all that work.

We have bowling today, only two weeks left in this season, yea!

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Tom

Karl, I once got a dozen Jumbo eggs, where every one was a double yolk. I told my wife, "We're having clones for breakfast"

Mike, glad you're healing up.  A dozen stitches over your eye must have been a bit of "Frankenstein" look to it.

Dr Appt this AM, geology talk this afternoon (remote), and some time in the train room in between.

Evening All,

Not much to report this way. The only other known thing for Dad this week is on Thursday dropping off and pick up at a senior field trip.

Tomorrow after chores I plan on getting to the workbench.

Jerry I responded to your msg yesterday. If you still haven't received it I'll redo it.

I hope everyone has a good night.

Good morning everyone.

43 in Virgin, sunny and 70 later.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Eggs the way you like them, crispy bacon and/or sausage along with roasted potatoes for breakfast today.

Curt, have fun at the bench today.

Dave, my first job as a kid was short order cook at a Howard Johnson's on the NJ Turnpike.
We once had a whole case, 60 dozen, of eggs that were all double yolks.

ACLTom, how was bowling?

Jerry, nice update.

Mike, hope there's some improvement with the sinus infection.

How's everyone else?

Forgot to mention that the tire couldn't be repaired and I bought a new one.
You could buy 4 regular passenger car tires for the price of one tire for the van.

Decided not to do the yesterday and let things dry out after the rain we had here.
Hike will happen today.

Since I didn't go hiking I had time to work on the Grand Canyon hike video.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Enjoy your hike today.

Starting out here in the 60's and headed to the high 80's later. 90's this weekend.

Next up on the kit is attaching tin roofing to the shed which I have previously colored and cut. After that putting up fences then the basic construction will be complete.

But first, floors today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Enjoy your hike. Tires are getting expensive; I hate to have to pay the bill for a 18 wheeler.

Curt enjoy your time at the bench and hope the floors go quickly.

What's your plans for the day.

It's 50 with a high of 75 with rain. At daybreak it was very foggy but that has already lifted. The neighbors across the street had their old house demolish yesterday. I was impressed it only took 30 minutes before it was turned into a pile of rubble; of course the cleanup will probably take a couple of days. Shook our house a couple of times but nothing to get excited about. Managed a little bench time yesterday. A few errands to run shortly.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Foggy here today in SE NH, too.  But warm, 60 right now heading to 65 or so.  It's our monthly lunch group meeting, this time another pot luck.  I'm making side dishes from Spanish tapas recipes, those go over well and provide something different from what others make.

Rick, tires for European luxury cars would probably make your van tires look cheap...  My neighbor with the Mercedes complains about that, but then we said, "You knew that when you bought that car..."

This one's for Curt:

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. I'll watch the video later this afternoon.

Bowling was good for Pam and I as we bowled our averages. Our team mates didn't so we won 2 points out of 8. We are in 7th place with 10 teams.

I have some yard work to do prior to the dirt being delivered tomorrow.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  That was quite a hike in the Grand Canyon.  A van tire, yikes!

Curt, good luck with the floor day.

Larry, hope the demo cleanup goes quickly.

Dave, hope you enjoy the monthly lunch group.

Tom, I don't envy the yard work tomorrow.

Ron, hope your wife is better.

Jerry, did you finish the yard work?

Philip, printing anything interesting?

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another nice day with the high forecast for 86°F.  Figure painting continued yesterday, and I hope to finish today.  Next will be planting people and finishing scenery around the depot.

Have fun,
mike

Breaking

We're between waves of weather Tornadoes, Torrential Rain, Wind, Flooding.

It was 80 yesterday so outside tasks prevailed. Mowed, today it's too wet, flooded along the front. County drains are over capacity.

More to come. We were just out and lots of fields flooded as well as numerous water in the roads, too. Lots of damage West of us a bit from tornado around midnight.

Hope all in forum land are well.

Tires are a bitch to buy even with the "family" discount. :o

Afternoon everyone

Late today as we went for another 8 bags of mulch.
Nothing got done at the bench yesterday but will try later on for an hour or two.

Yes Curt I di get the message.  Thanks but I ask another question today!!!

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning crew,

Coffee is on, soft drinks are in the fridge, and salmon crepes with sour cream sauce are on the counter.  A fresh fruit bowl rounds out breakfast.

It's a bright morning at 56°F, headed to 86°F.  Sadly, it is dry with no rain in the forecast.  .

Karl, that's some nasty weather up there.  Stay safe.

Jerry, putting out mulch is a chore.  Careful for the back strain.

How is the rest of the crew?

The agenda today is the presentation of a donation by Masonic Lodge members to an organization that provides needy kids with meals on the weekend, called Backpack Buddies. Later, we are headed to Columbus, Georgia, to feast on seafood and attend a baseball game.  It is in celebration of our daughter's birthday.  I doubt that I will get upstairs today.

Have fun,
mike
