I don't have much to finish on the interlocking tower. I'm waiting on the delivery of the desk and I still need to make a sign for the tower.

The tower is located on the south end of Sanlando on the Midlands level. The tower will be designated as SL Tower. The SL will be on the tower just below the second level windows.

Once the concrete base was secure, I added some scenery material. White glue was "painted" on the layout around the base. Three different Scenic Express and Woodland Scenic material was spread over the while glue.

I then lightly misted the area with a mix of warm water and liquid dish soap. I used a plastic eye dropper and then applied matte medium. After the matte medium, I sprinkled on some Scenic Express material.

Left to right - Scenic Express material.

Butty Bob,

Thank you. I like this better than the FOS tower in this location.

The FOS tower was moved but not to a permanent spot as yet.

I'll add more when the desk arrives and I find a tower operator to sit and boss the other guy.

A couple more figures and a vehicle or two will be added then as well.

Done for today.

The tower's position at the front of the layout plus those big windows justifies all the effort you put into the interior.  Well Done!

Dave,

Thank you very much. I agree, if it were back further, the extra details would be on another "up front" model.
