Sun  8) is in the forecast when it comes up today.

Headed to the door, the crew van is here to take me to OPS at Keeney's this morning and it's COLD, how cold? almost as cold as the SPARTAN's in last night's game.  Couldn't keep up with the team from our south.  (4o)

Layout construction time yesterday went ok.

A full buffet is ready on the warmers, enjoy the day all.

Morning all,

It's four degrees here today (feels like seven below).  But we're headed to a high of 27.  Improvement over the last week or so.

Had a bump in the road with the kit build and will be doing some repainting today.

Morning all,

Jeff, our low tomorrow is supposed to be 27 so I'll feel a little of the cold pain. Tomorrows high is around 46.

I talked to t he Judge and he is doing fine. They now have a chair lift and he has been walking further each day with the walker.

Not much else going on here. Have a safe and happy day ya'll.

Up to +4 at 8:30, it got down officially to -4, but my recording thermometer said -7.  NO wind, so actually I like this weather.

I'll get in a bit of modeling today, early Scotch Club meet to take advantage of the relative warmth.  We'll finish up before it gets dark, no doubt.

More work on the barn, this is coming along quite nicely.

Tom, glad to hear the Judge continues to improve!

Morning all. Cold here in the northeast corner of Mass. but it didn't feel as cold as last Saturday when I went out for coffee. Plan on staying in and trying to perform some type of miracle at the bench today. Glad to hear about the judge Tom, wishing nothing but the best with his recovery.

Morning all,

As Tom mentiond, it's going to get cold down here starting later today. I'm going to have to do some preventive maintenance to ensure the pipes coming into the house as well as those for the irrigatinon system don't freeze.

Finally wrapped up the current build. Except for finishing off the build thread. Think I'll spend time cleaning up the workbench and pondering what to build next.

Have a great one!

Good Morning Folks;

Well somebody left the door open and the cold air is moving into Florida. I guess we have a couple of days of this ahead of us. Tom, thanks for the update on the Judge. Hope he continues to improve.

Today I will definitely being staying inside, good time to clean the work bench then make it dirty again. Today's picture is a load of wood cuttings that filled railcars during the orange grove clean ups of one of our past freezes. Frankly I don't think there are enough orange trees in Florida today that you will see these pictures ever again.

Hope everyone enjoys the day.

Good morning, all, and thanks for opening, Karl.  Good to hear the Judge is doing well.  I had -4 at 0715 when I went out to tend the chickens & barn cat. Still no wind, but the bright sun isn't melting much.  Our kid left for a wrestling match at 0530, I don't think we'll see him till well after dark.  So today my wife continues on her house scratchbuild and maybe I'll get something done on my bridge scene.

1. How do you start your post?  Unless I'm starting a new thread I use the REPLY button bottom right.

2. How do you try to add the picture? I use the Click or drag files here to attach them at the bottom of the POST REPLY area. Then I put the cursor at the point in the text where I want the picture, then click INSERT on the little control associated with the newly added picture.

This has always worked for up to 5 images in a Reply for me, depending on what resolution I've reduced them to (usually about 1,000 pixels across).  Full camera resolution may not work for more than one, depending on how your camera is set.

Interesting, there's both a JPG (default format) and a PNG image.  There are a lot of image formats PNG, HEIC that work well on some systems, but won't work elsewhere.
