A neat little detail I just discovered is the clock on the stone wall. Incredible detail- see if George remembers where it came from. Thanks John, and thanks so much for your great effort on this thread. You are the world's #1 F&SM authority, with the possible exception of George.

Mike

I talked to George today and he can't remember where he got the clock on the wall but told me it was in his desk drawer for years waiting for the layout and a special place to put it. We had a followup discussion about age and memory but I can't remember what we said. ;D ;) ;)

This week I have picked a group of structures called Franklin Station for our structures of the week. This is the first area you see when you walk in the door at the Franklin & South Manchester.  I hope we will get some nice detail pictures from other forum members this week.  I took a number of overview shots of this area but only a few detail pictures of the individual buildings.

Very nice pictures John, thank you.
Here's 3 pics that I've found on the web several years ago. Unfortunately, I don't remember where and  from who.
So with my apologize to the owner of this pictures.

John, I loved that Walker building soooo much I scratch built one for my layout. My other
favorite is that little Brill building. Where on the layout was it moved to?

Hi John

Thanks for stopping by the thread.  Pictures of your version of Walker's would make a great addition to this thread. ;)
I will be watching as I go through my pictures for what happened to the Brill building. George has moved many of the buildings over the years - and sometimes they get lost in the changes.  One of my favorites was the Barongould Tannery along the North River. I asked George about it and he said it was destroyed during the moving process. :(
